  • Patent number: 10268982
Abstract: A method, system, and computer program product provides efficient matching of shipments with carriers and real time online tracking of shipments. The method includes receiving a carrier input that includes a desired end destination of an equipment of the carrier, and a processor locating at least one available shipment having one of (i) a shipment pick-up point within a pre-established, shipment pick-up zone and (ii) a shipment delivery point within an acceptable shipment drop-off zone of the desired end destination. The processor dynamically determines and maps an optimal route and generates and displays an available shipment (AV) user interface (UI), with a complete route for the equipment from a desired starting point to the desired end destination. The processor then calculates and provides, via the AV UI, an opportunity cost of the shipment, based in part on a total number of empty miles associated with the route.

  • Patent number: 10192846
Abstract: In an embodiment, a method includes inserting an electronic component including a power semiconductor device embedded in a dielectric core layer into a slot in a side face of a circuit board. • Publication number: 20180355874
Abstract: The present invention is an HVAC fan array wiring system that provides a quick connect box that is provided within the air stream of an HVAC air handler. Because the wiring for each fan within the fan array is to be connected to the quick connect box, the wiring materials and placement of the wiring can be predetermined at the time the fan array is designed. Accordingly, the novel wiring system and quick connect box reduces redundancies in manufacturing and installation of the fan array. Furthermore, the quick connect box and wiring system allows for easy installation of the HVAC fan array at a job site and improves a customer's experience with the control panel. This is primarily because, with the use of the claimed invention, an electrician need only link a main control and power line to the quick connect box and therefore, can install the control panel in a location that provides ease of access to the customer.

  • Publication number: 20170008048
Abstract: There are many manufactures, makes, and models of solar radiometers to choose from. There are also many radiometer housings to choose from. I have not observed or deployed any of the combinations available for solar radiometers to satisfy the requirements of unattended perfect solar radiation measurements in cold climates. There is a large expense involved with deploying radiometers in remote Arctic and Alpine regions. Huge expense is continually lost due to the lack of consistent quality data. My concept has continually proven and guarantees that time and money will not be lost. This was proven with an intensive parametric comparison study that by focusing a volume of air with the proper amount of force, specifically with the Albee Arctic Kick-ice System Radiometer Housing (Patent pending #61/934,754, Patent pending #62/107,441), is completely effective in combating all icing issues using a variety of radiometers from quality radiometer manufacturers.

  • Publication number: 20160317522
Abstract: The present invention is based, in part, on the unexpected discovery that particles for pulmonary delivery of a therapeutic, prophylactic or diagnostic agent that comprise a phospholipid and a sufficient amount of leucine can produce sustained effect of the agent. Specifically, particles for pulmonary delivery of a therapeutic, prophylactic or diagnostic agent that contain a phospholipid or combination of phospholipids, wherein the phospholipid or combination of phospholipids is present in the particles in an amount of about 1 to 46 weight percent; and leucine, wherein leucine is present in the particles in an amount of at least 46 weight percent, can contribute to sustained effect of the agent. Particles that comprise at least 46 weight percent leucine but that do not contain phospholipids do not exhibit these same sustained effect properties.
