  • Publication number: 20230285830
Abstract: A golf swing resistance device that secures to a golf club to provide increased aerodynamic drag during a golf swing. The device includes disk-shaped plates with a through-bore in the center of the plates. The plates are secured to the golf club by passing the grip end of the golf club through the through-bore of the plates. The plates align along the golf shaft of the golf club and abut against the golf club clubhead during a golf swing. Multiple plates can be stacked along the length of the golf shaft. The plates have a larger span (or diameter) than the golf shaft thereby increasing the cross-sectional area of the golf club and thus increasing the aerodynamic drag on the golf club during a golf swing. The plates can vary in size and quantity to provide variable amounts of aerodynamic drag.

  • Publication number: 20230282786
Abstract: Light-emitting diode (LED) packages and more particularly encapsulation arrangements in LED packages that provide reduced internal stresses are disclosed. LED packages may include housings that form a recess with one or more LED chips provided within the recess. Encapsulation arrangements include multiple encapsulation layers where a first encapsulation layer covers portions of a recess floor and sidewalls of the one or more LED chips, and a second encapsulation layer that covers the first encapsulation layer. In this manner, the first encapsulation layer is configured to buffer internal encapsulation stresses during operation that could lead to delamination of the LED chips.

  • Patent number: 11736196
Abstract: An optical communication system including a hub optical transceiver, a power splitter, and a plurality of spoke transceivers. The hub optical transceiver is configured for receiving a spectrum of wavelengths. The power splitter is coupled to the hub optical transceiver, and operates as a passive device that is configured to replicate the spectrum of wavelengths and output a plurality of replicated spectrum of wavelengths, and each replicated spectrum of wavelengths has a corresponding power that is a fraction of a total power received from the hub optical transceiver. The plurality of spoke transceivers is coupled to the power splitter and each of the plurality of spoke transceivers is configured to receive a corresponding one of the plurality of replicated spectrum of wavelengths, wherein each spoke transceiver is tunable to select a band of wavelengths that set a bandwidth for the each spoke transceiver.

  • Patent number: 11727652
Abstract: Image processing techniques for rendering holographic images are described. Image data captured from cameras can be converted into a triangle mesh. The triangle mesh may be processed by determining the location of edges, normals, and edge distances in the mesh. Mesh and edge smoothing can be performed on the mesh to reduce noise and jagged edges. Additional mesh cleanup and simplification can be performed to reduce the number of vertices and triangles and enhance the qualify of the mesh. Data from the resulting mesh can be transmitted to a receiving device where the mesh data is used to reproduce a holographic image of the image data captured by the depth sensors.

  • Publication number: 20230246144
Abstract: Light-emitting diode (LED) packages, and more particularly arrangements of light-altering coatings in LED packages are disclosed. Exemplary LED packages may include lead frame structures that are at least partially encased by a housing. Arrangements of light-altering coatings may be provided that cover one or more portions of lead frame structures exposed within LED package recesses. By providing light-altering coatings that cover lead frame structures within package recesses, negative impacts from potential lead frame discoloration due to environmental exposure may be reduced. Additionally, such light-altering coatings may be configured to reflect light emissions from LED chips before reaching portions of lead frame structures. Light-altering coating arrangements are disclosed where light-altering coatings are arranged in contact with LED chips or, alternatively, in a spaced relationship with LED chips.

  • Patent number: 11704287
Abstract: An interface server (e.g., Web Application Open Platform Interface (WOPI) server) is communicatively connected to an information management (IM) server and to an online application server which acts as a client of the interface server. When a user wishes to open, create, or edit a document in an online application hosted by the online application server, the interface server is called, instead of the IM server which manages the document at the backend of an enterprise computing network. The interface server is configured for obtaining a working copy of the document from the IM server and providing the working copy to the client. The client provides the working copy to the online application for display on the user device. When the work is done, the working copy is sync'd back through the interface server to the IM server as a new draft and deleted by the interface server.
