Abstract: A phased array antenna device including: a conductive ground plane body structure including a series of through apertures; a structural spacing layer having known dielectric and structural properties, for holding an active layer in a predetermined stable spaced apart relationship to the ground plane body structure; a active surface layer spaced apart from the ground plane body structure and supported by said structural spacing layer, said active layer including a series of tile components, said tile components including a number of active conductive elements formed on a non conductive substrate, said active components being interconnected to corresponding driving electronics by conductive feeds formed through said apertures.

Abstract: A low noise amplifier circuit including: at least a first input and first output; at least a first stage of transistor amplification having a transistor input terminal; the circuit further comprising: an input driving circuit interconnecting the first input to the transistor input terminal, the input driving circuit including a parallel resonant circuit interconnected between the transistor input terminal and ground and a series resonant circuit interconnected between the input terminal and the transistor input terminal, the input driving circuit functioning as an input matching network for the circuit in conjunction with an input bias and decoupling network.

Abstract: A method and system of monitoring changes in a body, the method comprising the steps of: (a) emitting microwave radiation from a set of spaced apart transmitters placed adjacent the body; (b) separately receiving a radiation pattern from the transmitters via at least one receiver; (c) analysing the differences between the separately received radiation patterns to determine changes in the body.

Abstract: Suspended scraper used to remove snow from the top of reasonably flat Truck, Trailer & Bus roofs. Concrete footing—18″ in diameter, 4′ deep with 2 anchor bolts per footing. Installed on top of the footing (one) 1 per footing, 8″×8″×½″ steel beams 16″½″ tall with 8″×8″ steel plate welded to base of steel beam. Top support 8″×8″×½″ steel beam 15′4″ length with 8″×16″ steel plate welded to both ends. Top steel beam will be bolted to top end of steel uprights to form support for scraper. One overhead door track to be welded on inside edge of both uprights.
