  • Patent number: 11475625
Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program for generating a sub-volume within a 3D dataset in a consistent, repeatable fashion. To accomplish this, geometric object(s) (e.g., 2D planes) are placed at precise anatomic landmarks with precise sizes and orientations. This serves to divide the 3D object into multiple parts (e.g., a first portion of the 3D volume has a first set of voxels and a second portion of the 3D volume has a second set of voxels). This process continues as multiple additional geometric objects are placed so that certain features of the 3D dataset can be extracted (i.e., shown with the best viewing settings). This process when used in conjunction with a radiologist's checklist enables efficient volume-by-volume viewing.

  • Patent number: 11442538
Abstract: In this patent, an improved eye tracking system is implemented for enhanced viewing. This system incorporates eye facing cameras and tracks display settings longitudinally and determines which portions of the image have been viewing and to what extent. A longitudinal dataset is generated and analyzed to better understand the human review process and cause improvements thereof. Furthermore, image review is enhanced by highlighting portions of the image that have not been adequately reviewed. Comparison across multiple reviewers is also performed to improve a user's performance.

  • Patent number: 11380065
Abstract: In this patent, an advanced head display unit designed primarily for fire fighters is disclosed. The advanced augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR) head display unit improves coordination between teammates through eye tracking coupled with augmented reality features. This allows one fire fighter to know where another fire fighter is looking and helps coordinate tasks by dividing the scene into sectors and visibly marking each sector. Further, this system helps determine where to hose with a smart target system. Further, multiple sensors are utilized together to triangulate the location of a victim's voice. Additional advantages are also disclosed above.

  • Patent number: 11366319
Abstract: This patent provides a novel set of stereoscopic imaging techniques. Such techniques allow extremely large field of view datasets capable of stereoscopic display, such as greater than 270° horizontal field of view and 180° vertical field of view. Thus it is possible to record data in a way that is larger than a user could visualize. A user can thus select which subset of the dataset he/she wants to view. Then, allow the user to view naturally via head tracking and eye tracking to allow one to see and inspect a scene as if one were naturally there viewing it in real time.
