  • Patent number: 12270082
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods for detecting unique genetic signatures derived from markers such as, for example, mutations, somatic or germ-line, in nucleic acids obtained from biological samples. The sensitivity of the methods provides for detection of mutations associated with a disease, e.g., cancer mutations, or with inherited disease, e.g., an autosomal recessive disease, in a noninvasive manner at ultra-low proportions of sequences carrying mutations to sequences carrying normal, e.g., non-cancer sequences, or a reference sequence, e.g., a human reference genome.

  • Patent number: 12260625
Abstract: Techniques for determining ground surface voxels based on multiresolution planes are discussed herein. Such multiresolution planes may be generated, validated, and used to connect voxels associated with the ground. In some examples, a vehicle may use capture or otherwise receive lidar data while traversing within a driving environment. The vehicle may associate the lidar data with a voxel space. Voxels can be associated with a cell of a multiresolution grid and the vehicle may determine multiresolution planes associated with the multiresolution space. For example, the vehicle may determine a first plane associated with a first resolution level, in addition to determining a plurality of planes associated with a second resolution level. The vehicle may determine the validity of the plane(s) at the various resolution levels. Based on the validity of the planes, the vehicle may connect the valid planes that are associated with the ground surface.

  • Publication number: 20250093165
Abstract: A technique automatically identifies and resolves prohibited maneuvers in candidate routes generated by a routing system. Examples of prohibited maneuvers include traveling over a non-navigable path, traveling in an incorrect direction over a roadway, and an improper turn. The technique determines whether the candidate routes contain prohibited maneuvers by comparing the candidate routes with plural types of route-related validation data in plural respective validation processes. For example, a first validation process compares the candidate routes with a collection of GPS traces. A second validation process compares the candidate routes with map reference data. The technique further includes provisions for correcting the causes of identified prohibited maneuvers. Overall, the technique reduces the amount of manual effort involved in verifying the accuracy of routes produced by the routing system, and improves the accuracy, reliability, and safety of the routing system.

  • Publication number: 20250085643
Abstract: In some general aspects, a surface of a structure within a chamber of an extreme ultraviolet (EUV) light source is cleaned using a method. The method includes generating a plasma state of a material that is present at a location adjacent to a non-electrically conductive body that is within the chamber. The generation of the plasma state of the material includes electromagnetically inducing an electric current at the location adjacent the non-electrically conductive body to thereby transform the material that is adjacent the non-electrically conductive body from a first state into the plasma state. The plasma state of the material includes plasma particles, at least some of which are free radicals of the material. The method also includes enabling the plasma particles to pass over the structure surface to remove debris from the structure surface without removing the structure from the chamber of the EUV light source.

  • Publication number: 20240410706
Abstract: A technique generates estimated time-of-arrival (ETA) information to assist in navigating from one physical location to another. The technique uses a computer-implemented route-finding engine to identify a route between a specified starting location and an ending location of a trip. The route includes a sequence of segments. The technique then uses a machine-trained model to map information regarding the segments to ETA information. The ETA information provides an estimate of a time-of-arrival for the trip as a whole. The ETA information also provides an estimate of parameters that describe the level of confidence of the time-of-arrival estimate for the trip. A training system produces the machine-trained model using a loss function, part of which models the time-of-arrival for the trip as a mixture of distributions.

  • Patent number: 12142929
Abstract: A system for monitoring and optimizing fuel consumption by a genset at an oil rig is described. Gensets require large amounts of fuel to initiate and to maintain in a standby, idling position. The system accesses data in a drill plan to determine the present and future power requirements and initiates gensets if needed; otherwise gensets can be shut down. Excess power can be stored in a power storage unit such as a capacitor, battery, or a liquid air energy storage unit.
