  • Publication number: 20170173609
Abstract: A two part adhesive spray system is provided herein. This system provides numerous enhancements to the prior art including limiting overspray “fog,” saving on sprayed material because of a more efficient spray pattern, and providing a more efficient bond than that of the prior art. In particular, the present invention provides a spray pattern having both adhesive and activator. The activator is sprayed in a smaller spray area than the adhesive, which is sprayed on a larger area. As such, when sprayed on a substrate, the activator provides a rapid tack to hold a second adhered material to the substrate sufficient to hold it in place while the remainder of the adhesive dries and/or cures.

  • Publication number: 20170165702
Abstract: An adhesive application apparatus is provided. The apparatus uses a rolled on adhesive applied to a substrate. After roll application, an adhesive activator is sprayed onto the substrate. By spraying an activator onto the substrate after the adhesive is applied, the adhesive may be made tacky for adhesion, but the adhesive used for rolling may be highly stable and slow to dry/cure without said activator, which enhances rolled application effectiveness.

  • Publication number: 20160221020
Abstract: A holster for a spray gun is provided. The holster is configured to hold a spray gun in place when not in use. The holster has a reservoir body that defines an open-topped chamber. A fluid may be held inside the chamber, and a nozzle of the spray gun held by the holster may submerge in this fluid. The nozzle being submerged in the fluid of the holster can prevent hardening, thickening or drying of any material left over on or in the spray gun nozzle after use.

  • Publication number: 20100251864
Abstract: A tool device with projections and valley floors used in profiling material such as foam. The projections having distal recesses surrounded by rims to form flat topped products. A profiler has opposing tooling devices with one or more (e.g., stacked) tool devices and a cutter to form, for example, mirror image flat top output products including single of multi-zoned flat top surface regions with flat surface protuberances. Projections of one tooling device extend within a valley floor region surrounded by a projection of an opposing tooling device or within recesses formed in, for example, an opposing side wall of a projection of the opposing tooling device or projections designed to extend within valley floor regions between adjacent rows of projections on an opposing tooling device, inclusive of conformingly shaped valley floor regions having a common interior configuration to the exterior configuration of an opposing projection to be received.

  • Patent number: 7441532
Abstract: The present invention provides a four-stroke internal combustion engine having reduced noise emissions. The engine includes a filter element having substantially flat inlet and outlet sides, a first housing portion, and a second housing portion coupled to the first housing portion. The first and second housing portions define an air chamber in which the filter element is supported. The second housing portion includes an interior surface, at least one protrusion to space the inlet side of the filter element from the interior surface, and an air passageway. The outlet of the air passageway is positioned adjacent the interior surface to deliver air to the air chamber between the interior surface and the inlet side of the filter element. A ratio of the volume of the air chamber to the length of the air passageway is between about 5 in2 and about 20 in2.

  • Patent number: 7364583
Abstract: A system for exposure of eyes of a user to light is disclosed. That system comprises: a head mountable housing and at least one array of light emitting diodes disposed within the housing proximate to the eyes, and whereby light emissions are transmitted to the eyes. A controller is coupled to the light emitting diodes, and controls the intensity, duration, and sequences of the light emissions. Also provided is portable electrical charge storage cell, disposed within the housing, whereby an electrical current is supplied to the at least one array of light emitting devices.

  • Patent number: 6227387
Abstract: An apparatus for supporting utensils utilizing a base member which includes a surface extending along the base member. The base member is linked to a structure, such as a cabinet, and may be movable relative to the same. A plurality of holders are connected to the surface of the base member to position utensils in a pendant mode. Sound attenuating devices are interposed adjacent utensils to absorb sound normally generated by utensils contacting one another.

  • Patent number: 5294181
Abstract: A seat cushion is described which has particular utility as a wheelchair seat cushion. The seat cushion includes a base layer of polyurethane foam with a front edge of greater height than the rear edge so as to define a downwardly sloping upper surface. The base layer supports an essentially constant thickness intermediate layer which is less firm than the base layer. The intermediate layer has a pair of laterally spaced recesses formed in the forward end of the intermediate layer which curve both upwardly and inwardly from the front edge of the intermediate layer. A top layer is secured to the intermediate layer and has a constant thickness. The top layer is formed of foam material which is less firm (e.g., a lower 65% IFD value) than the foam forming the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer is formed of a foam which is less firm (e.g., a lower 65% IFD value) than the material forming the base layer.
