  • Publication number: 20200321714
Abstract: A method of transporting grounding plates is provided, having a step of providing a plurality of grounding plates made from an electrically conductive material. Each grounding plate has a plate body with first and second faces that are planar, opposed, and parallel to each other, and a grounding connector formed from the same material and having a first end connected to the plate body. The grounding connector is bendable about the first end from a planar configuration to a functional configuration. In the planar configuration, the grounding connector is aligned with and parallel to the first and second faces of the plate body, and in the functional configuration, the grounding connector is at an angle relative to the first face of the plate body. The method has the further steps of stacking the plurality of grounding plates in the planar configuration and transporting the stack to a destination.

  • Patent number: 10737044
Abstract: Actuators for an aerosol inhalation device containing a housing adapted to receive an aerosol canister containing a pressurized medicament formulation, a mouthpiece portion through which the user inhales, a nozzle block and an orifice and a tubular element extending in the mouthpiece portion from the orifice aperture in a longitudinal axis substantially aligned with a longitudinal axis of the mouthpiece portion provide a significant reduction in the non-respirable, coarse fraction of the emitted aerosol medicament via inertial impaction and retention in the actuator than in the oro-pharynx, with consequent less associated side effects and oral candidiasis in the patient. In addition the presence of the tubular element has minimal, negligible impact on the fine particle dose and on the particle size distribution (PSD) of the delivered particles having aerodynamic diameter lower than 9 ?m.

  • Publication number: 20200215463
Abstract: Filter systems disclosed herein collapse for storage purposes and include mechanisms to continuously fill an upper chamber, allowing it to be smaller and to include more filters. A UVC light in a lower chamber sanitizes water entering therein. Water entering the lower chamber may pass through a quartz tube near the UVC light for sufficient exposure. The UVC light may be cycled between shorter periods of higher intensity and longer periods of lower intensity. A low power source such as a small solar array and/or battery may power the UVC light. A proximity switch may control the UVC light by providing power to the light only when the upper chamber is engaged with the lower chamber which may protect the user from exposure to the UVC light. Sealing mechanisms between the upper and lower chambers, as well as tote mechanisms and an alternative bucket filter system are disclosed.
