  • Patent number: 11531638
Abstract: A method and system are provided for configurable computation and data processing. A logical processor includes an array of logic elements. The processor may be a combinatorial circuit that can be applied to modify computational aspects of an array of reconfigurable circuits. A memory stores a plurality of instructions, each instruction including an instruction-fetch data portion and an output data transfer data portion. One or more memory controllers are coupled to the memory and receive instructions and/or output data from the memory. A back buffer is coupled with the memory controller and receives instructions from the memory controller. The back buffer sequentially asserts each received instruction upon one or more memory controllers. The memory controllers transfer data received from the memory to a target, such as an array of reconfigurable logic circuits that are optionally coupled to the memory, the back buffer, and one or more additional memory controllers.

  • Publication number: 20220377514
Abstract: A wireless communication network serves User Equipment (UEs) over a Third Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) Network Exposure Function (NEF). The wireless communication network comprises a non-3GPP Interworking Function (IWF) and the 3GPP NEF. The non-3GPP IWF receives NEF Application Programming Interface (API) calls that have UE data from the UEs over non-3GPP access nodes. The non-3GPP IWF transfers the NEF API calls that have the UE data to the 3GPP NEF. The 3GPP NEF receives the NEF API calls that have the UE data from the non-3GPP IWF. The 3GPP NEF exposes the UE data to an Application Functions (AF) in response to the NEF API calls.

  • Patent number: 11497069
Abstract: A wireless communication network serves a Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session type over a Radio Access Network (RAN). The wireless communication network comprises a Network Repository Function (NRF), Management and Orchestration (MANO) system, a User Plane Function (UPF), a RAN, and User Equipment (UEs). The NRF receives UPF requests for User Plane Functions (UPFs) that can serve the PDU session type over the RAN and responsively transfers UPF responses indicating other UPFs that cannot serve the PDU session type over the RAN. The NRF determines when the transfer of the UPF responses is excessive. In response, the NRF transfers an instantiation request to a Management and Orchestration (MANO) system to instantiate a new UPF that can serve the PDU session type over the RAN. The MANO system instantiates the new UPF. The new UPF serves the PDU session type to the UEs over the RAN.

  • Publication number: 20220353755
Abstract: A wireless communication network hands-out a wireless User Equipment (UE) from a non-Third Partnership Project (non-3GPP) access node to a target communication network. An Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) determines UE context for the wireless UE for a data communication session over the non-3GPP access node. The AMF detects when the wireless UE de-attaches from the non-3GPP access node to handover to the target communication network. In response, the AMF transfers the UE context for the wireless UE to a Network Exposure Function (NEF). The NEF receives the UE context for the UE from the AMF and transfer the UE context for the UE to the target communication network.

  • Publication number: 20220303874
Abstract: A data communication network controls network access for User Equipment (UE) over a non-Third Generation Partnership Project (non-3GPP) access node. The non-3GPP access node transfers a UE access control message to a non-3GPP Interworking Function (IWF). The non-3GPP IWF transfers an N2 message indicating the UE access control message to a 3GPP Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF). The 3GPP AMF transfers an N1 message indicating the UE access control message to the UE. The UE processes the UE access control message from the non-3GPP access node.

  • Publication number: 20220303834
Abstract: A wireless communication network hands-in inbound User Equipment (UE) from a source communication network to a non-Third Partnership Project (non-3GPP) access node. In the wireless communication network, a Network Exposure Function (NEF) receives inbound UE context from the source communication network. An Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) detects when the inbound UE attaches to the non-3GPP access node to hand-in from the source communication network and responsively transfers a UE context request for the inbound UE to the NEF. The NEF transfers the inbound UE context to the AMF in response to the UE context request. The AMF transfers network signaling to one or more network functions to serve the inbound UE based on the inbound UE context.

  • Publication number: 20220303933
Abstract: A wireless User Equipment (UE) and an Access and Mobility Management Function (AMF) establish first and second active registrations and corresponding N1s. The UE and AMF deactivate the second active registration and establish a third active registration and corresponding N1. The UE and AMF exchange active N1 signaling for the first active registration and the third active registration. The UE and AMF exchange inactive N1 signaling for the second inactive registration.

  • Patent number: 11416328
Abstract: Systems and methods for providing automated problem reporting in elements used in conjunction with computer networks are disclosed. The system comprises a plurality of elements that perform data operations and a reporting manager or monitor agent which monitors the elements and data operations. Upon detection of hardware or software problems, the reporting manager or monitor agent automatically communicates with elements affected by the problem to gather selected hardware, software, and configuration information, analyzes the information to determine causes of the problem, and issues a problem report containing at least a portion of the selected information. The problem report is communicated to a remote monitor that does not possess access privileges to the elements, allowing automated, remote monitoring of the elements without compromising security of the computer network or elements.

  • Patent number: 11407208
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to laminate composite panels comprising a first layer of fiberglass reinforced polyester (“FRP”) and a second layer of a polyurethane material. The polyurethane layer can comprise a reaction product between an aromatic polyester polyether polyol and a diisocyanate. The polyurethane is cured-in-place on a surface of the FRP, thus creating a laminate composite material wherein the layers are adhered together without application of a separate adhesive layer. The panels exhibit improved water resistance and strength properties. The laminate composite can be adhered to a second material such as wood, polystyrene, polyurethane, or non-wovens. Such panels are particularly suitable for use in recreational vehicles, motor homes, trailers, and as building materials. Methods of making such laminate composite materials are also provided.
