Patent number: 10929712Abstract: In some implementations, a system is capable of generating identifications that include distinctive line patterns corresponding to different portions of secure customer information. Data indicating an input image, and a dithering matrix representing a two-dimensional array of pixel values is obtained. Pixel values of pixels included in the input image are transformed using the dithering matrix. For each pixel within the input image, the transformation includes identifying a particular pixel value within the dithering matrix that represents a particular pixel within the input image, and adjusting an intensity value of the particular pixel based on attributes of the dithering matrix. A transformed image is generated based on the transformation and then provided for output.Type: GrantFiled: October 31, 2019Date of Patent: February 23, 2021Assignee: MorphoTrust USA, LLCInventors: Yecheng Wu, Robert L. Patent number: 10713618Abstract: Aspects and embodiments are directed to systems for determining counting accuracy of products, including retail products. The system for determining counting accuracy can interface with other inventory systems to access or receive information on inventory of the retail products. The inventory information can include, for example, numbers of units in inventory, shelf space accorded to respective products, package size (i.e., number of units available per package), retail value, margin value, among other options. The system can manage physical counts made on respective products. In some examples, the system can determine a value associated with physically counting inventory of respective product(s), for example, as a function of a number of units on-hand, time since the product has been counted, and a presentation value. Responsive to determining the value associated with physically counting the respective product, the system triggers a physical count or can prohibit a physical count of a product.Type: GrantFiled: July 13, 2018Date of Patent: July 14, 2020Assignee: Walmart Apollo, LLCInventors: Matthew Allen Jones, Robert Taylor, Roger L. Publication number: 20200175323Abstract: In some implementations, a system is capable of generating identifications that include distinctive line patterns corresponding to different portions of secure customer information. Data indicating an input image, and a dithering matrix representing a two-dimensional array of pixel values is obtained. Patent number: 10628539Abstract: A computing system, method and computer program product dynamically manage Monte Carlo simulations. In a method, convergence criteria conditions are identified and a set of outcomes is generated following the repeated performance of one or more functions upon randomly sampled input parameter distributions. The method also determines whether the convergence criteria condition is satisfied based upon a plurality of samples. In an instance in which the convergence criteria condition is not satisfied, the method supplements the set of outcomes by repeatedly performing the one or more functions upon randomly sampled input parameter distributions. In an instance in which the convergence criteria condition is satisfied, the method determines whether the set of outcomes has been supplemented prior to satisfying the convergence criteria condition and, if the set of outcomes has not been supplemented, the size of the set of outcomes to be generated during a subsequent Monte Carlo simulation is reduced.Type: GrantFiled: October 19, 2017Date of Patent: April 21, 2020Assignee: The Boeing CompanyInventors: Kelsea Cox, Lindsay L.
