  • Publication number: 20090161322
Abstract: An enclosure and method of construction for use with electronic devices such as computers, amplifiers, switching systems, receivers, video monitors, and televisions, allows a user to access virtually all connector ports on a given piece of equipment from the front of the equipment by displacing a moveable front accessible control panel which supports control mechanisms by which to regulate the equipment. The ideal enclosure may be elevated on adjustable feet such that connector cables from connected peripheral devices may be routed beneath the enclosure to corresponding connector ports at the front of the enclosure. Alternatively, the enclosure may include one or more channels through which connector cables may be passed for greater concealment. Channels may be fixed, may include moveable panels for greater access, or may be completely removable for more easily accessing internal components of the enclosure.

  • Patent number: 5956983
Abstract: A locking mechanism for bicycle or motorcycle wheels. The mechanism is a through-the-wheel lock that has a hook that attaches to a stationary fixed object, such as a pole. A first embodiment of the invention has a holding bracket attached to one side of the vehicle's front fork. A locking bracket is mounted on the other side of the front fork, directly opposite the holding bracket. A locking cane having a U-shaped end hook includes a number of rachet teeth on the end of the cane opposite the end hook. The holding bracket has a first opening for holding the locking bar in an inoperative position, and a second opening for holding the locking cane in a position wherein the rachet teeth end of the cane inserts between the front wheel spokes and into engagement with the locking mechanism. The end hook is looped around a pole, (or other suitable stationary object), and the cane is pushed into the locking mechanism until the bar and cycle are snug.

  • Patent number: 4424194
Abstract: The method for extraction of precious metals from leachable ores and forming a building materials which includes the steps of crushing a quantity of leachable ore into a powder of substantially uniform particle size, mixing with a quantity of a binding material and mixing with a leaching material. The materials are then formed into a masonry building construction article having at least one passage therein. A plurality of the masonry building construction articles are stacked with at least some of the passages disposed therein in generally parallel flow paths and a solvent is passed through the passages of the masonry building construction articles.

  • Patent number: 4190436
Abstract: Timed or regulated air bursts are employed to agitate and oxygenate leachable ores or other material containing valuable leachable elements in the presence of a leaching solution. The process provides a homogenous mixing of fines within the leaching solution thereby reducing channeling within the ore.

  • Patent number: 4108365
Abstract: Recording apparatus for "dubbing" (recording from one to the other) onto a customer's magnetic tape cartridge, selected audio and/or video recordings stored in the apparatus. The apparatus includes means for activating the apparatus, means for selecting the desired recordings, means for identifying and storing data representing the selected recordings for tabulating royalties accrued by playing the selected recordings, and magnetic tape cartridge receptacle, transport and recording means for the customer's cartridge. The record selection and recording means may be located directly on the record storage and playback machine or at a remote recording station.
