  • Patent number: 4455638
Abstract: In a record playback system which includes a substantially enclosed conductive arm carriage to support and translate a stylus/stylus arm assembly and an oscillator in the carriage to provide a signal at a given frequency, a symmetrical choke is formed in conjunction with the bottom of the carriage. The symmetrical choke is dimensioned to place an open circuit at a given radial distance from the stylus opening in the carriage bottom to reduce the radiation of energy from the playback system in a band of frequencies including the given frequency, and/or reduce the playback system's susceptibility to radiation from outside sources.

  • Patent number: 4355201
Abstract: An electric fence wire mounting structure for supporting a highly tensioned and electrically charged wire from a wooden fence post at either a corner or at the end of a line of fencing which includes a strap of electrically non-conductive material and an elongated metal retainer which are held in engagement with each other and are bendable as a unit to engage the surface of a cylindrical fence post. The mounting structure is fastened to the post by metal fasteners such as nails spaced from the metal strap.

  • Patent number: 4323231
Abstract: A jumping board which is particularly well-suited to provide a surface on which a person may jump rope. The board comprises a resiliently deformable member of foam material having a pair of oppositely disposed substantially planar surfaces and a peripheral edge surface joining the planar surfaces about the periphery of the deformable member. First and second planar sheet members are disposed in surface contact and adhered with the planar surfaces of the deformable member. The jumping board additionally includes a resiliently deformable peripheral edge member for the periphery of the deformable member. The edge member has first and second spaced end edge portions and an intermediate body portion.

  • Patent number: 4263477
Abstract: An electric insulator for guiding and supporting an electric fence wire. The insulator comprises an elongated body of electrical insulating material and has a mounting means located at one end of the body for mounting the body upon a fence post in an outwardly projecting manner. An upright abutment member is fixed on the opposite end of said body and carries retainer tab means. The tab means project from said abutment in a direction generally toward the mounting means.

  • Patent number: 4077611
Abstract: A fence wire mount and insulator device adapted for mounting on a metal fence post of T-shaped cross section in which wire is supported in spaced relationship relative to the fence post by a bracket member which engages the fence post and is shaped to accommodate a variety of configurations and dimensions. The bracket which engages the fence post is provided with a curved offset portion which permits elongation of one portion of the bracket and permits initial easy insertion of the fence post relative to the bracket.

  • Patent number: 3970101
Abstract: A float controlled valve assembly in which the valve is located in spaced relationship to the float with vent means being provided in between and above the level of a liquid receiving tank to provide an anti-siphoning arrangement. The valve is operated by an actuator which is suspended independently of the float but is movable in response thereto. The actuator is supported and guided for both axial and rotational movement which maintains friction between the actuator and the float at a minimum and also minimizes and maintains uniform and minimum wear between the co-acting valve parts.
