  • Publication number: 20230380922
Abstract: A device for environmentally friendly destruction of health-relevant and cosmetically/aesthetically relevant cell structures, in particular tumour cells, which have at least one metallic nanoparticle on their cell membrane, is disclosed. The device includes a primary coil for generating an inhomogeneous primary magnetic field, a secondary coil for generating an inhomogeneous secondary magnetic field and a control device which is designed for actuating the primary coil in such a way that the nanoparticle is deflected by the primary magnetic field and for actuating the secondary coil in such a way that the secondary magnetic field oscillates in relation to the primary magnetic field and deforms it periodically in order to generate Alfvén waves which deflect the nanoparticle, whereby the cell membrane of the cell structure is torn up by the nanoparticle and the cell structure is consequently destroyed.

  • Patent number: 10825208
Abstract: An adaptive method for generating CT image data is described. In the method, projection measurement data of an examination region of an examination object is acquired. Furthermore, uncorrected image data of the examination region is generated. Artifact-affected subregions of the examination region are determined on the basis of at least one part of the uncorrected image data. An artifact-reduced image reconstruction is carried out in the artifact-affected subregions of the examination region. Only artifact-reduced subimage data of the artifact-affected subregions is generated. Finally, artifact-reduced image data of the entire examination region is generated by combining at least one part of the uncorrected image data and the artifact-reduced subimage data. A reconstruction device is also described. Moreover, a computed tomography system is described.

  • Publication number: 20170114198
Abstract: Multilayer prepregs are formed by stacking layers of unidirectional prepregs in which continuous reinforcing fibers are aligned in a single direction. The unidirectional prepregs are made by impregnating aligned tows of a reinforcing fiber with a solid thermosetting resin that softens at a temperature below its cure temperature. The layers of the stack are bonded together by softening and then re-cooling the resin portion of the individual prepreg layers. The multilayer prepreg is then molded and cured to form a composite part.
