  • Patent number: 7879263
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to methods and solutions for growing metal charge-transfer salts on a metal surface, such as a metal layer at the bottom of a via hole. The method makes use of a solution comprising a salt additive. The temperature during growth is in the range of ?100° C. to +100° C. The method allows controlled growth of the metal charge transfer salt inside via hole while limiting growth outside the via hole. The method further limits corrosion of the metallic connections at the bottom of the via hole.

  • Patent number: 7763414
Abstract: A Pseudo Low Volume Reticle (PLVR) which consists of multiple design layers on a single reticle. Specifically, the reticle can include two instances of each layer in order to facilitate die-to-die inspection techniques. A scribe is wrapped around each instance of the layer, such that both the frame and active area of the chip can be inspected with the die-to-die method. The chip consists of design data for a given part. The scribe, or frame, is preferably standard data across products which is used for yield and in line testing during the chip manufacturing process. Since only one chip and scribe unit is necessary to manufacture a device at each layer, it is only necessary that one chip and scribe instance yield during the reticle manufacturing process.

  • Publication number: 20070260934
Abstract: A technique wherein High Availability (HA) hardware is used to automatically validate control and configuration registers, e.g. automatically generate parity, detect parity errors, and report errors within software-written configuration and control registers of ASIC and IC products. Parity control logic and Masking Registers are utilized to facilitate automatic parity generation and subsequent parity error reporting. The specific location of where the error occurred can be stored to enable software to correct and/or reconfigure the registers. The HA hardware verifies the validity of control and configuration registers coupled to a bus, utilizing idle cycles in addition to valid bus cycles so there is no impact on system throughput.

  • Publication number: 20070208669
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for processing data are described herein. The system maintains first databases of patents, and second databases of non-patent information of interest to a corporate entity. The system also maintains one or more groups. Each of the groups comprises any number of the patents from the first databases. The system, upon receiving appropriate operator commands, automatically processes the patents in one of the groups in conjunction with non-patent information from the second databases. Accordingly, the system performs patent-centric and group-oriented processing of data A group can also include any number of non-patent documents. The groups may be product based, person based, corporate entity based, or user-defined. Other types of groups are also covered, such as temporary groups.

  • Patent number: 7057261
Abstract: An embodiment of the present invention provides a novel method which makes LVR to HVR registration possible by wrapping the X and Y scribes around each instance of each layer on both the LVR and HVR reticles; standard HVR reticles and LVR reticles will not align to one another due to registration and electrical test structures in the scribe being in different locations. Another embodiment of the present invention addresses the loss of die per wafer due to increased scribe area when using LVR and HVR reticles in the same set.

  • Publication number: 20060113800
Abstract: The invention relates to a wind energy system having a rotor that can be driven by the wind, preferably having one or more rotor blades that can be adjusted in angle, a generator directly or indirectly connected with the rotor, to generate electric energy, which is configured as an asynchronous generator having a super-synchronous converter cascade in the rotor circuit, for slip-variable generator operation, so that power output of the generator is possible at variable speeds of rotation of the rotor, and an operation guide system that is configured to regulate the speed of rotation of the rotor, within a predetermined wind speed range. To improve the energy yield, it is provided that the super-synchronous rectifier cascade is configured in the rotor circuit for feeding the slip power into the network. For this purpose, the super-synchronous converter cascade has a DC voltage intermediate circuit having a high-set element.
