  • Publication number: 20190392105
Abstract: Systems and methods for obfuscating a circuit design are described. One of the methods includes receiving the circuit design from a user computing device. The circuit design includes a plurality of circuit components. The method further includes obfuscating each of the circuit components by transforming layout features associated with the circuit design into a generic layout feature representation. The generic layout feature representation excludes scaled representations of the layout features. The method also includes generating a visual representation of the obfuscated designs. Each of the obfuscated designs has an input port and an output port. The method further includes enabling placement of the obfuscated designs and routing between the input ports and the output ports of the obfuscated designs. The method includes generating an obfuscated integrated circuit design having a master input port, a master output port, the obfuscated designs, and the routing between the obfuscated designs.

  • Publication number: 20190389149
Abstract: A method and system for forming a composite laminate. A layup plan is generated for laying up a plurality of plies having a plurality of merge zones, each ply of the plurality of plies having a corresponding merge zone at which ends of a first plurality of tows for each ply and ends of a second plurality of tows for each ply meet. The locations of the plurality of merge zones are offset relative to each other through a thickness of the composite laminate. The plurality of plies is then laid up according to the layup plan to form a composite laminate.

  • Patent number: 10513957
Abstract: A liquid conservation device that utilizes a heat exchanger to condense water vapor from exhaust gas emanating from an exhaust treatment. Water evaporated during the emissions control process is recovered and returned for reuse, thereby significantly reducing the water requirement of the exhaust treatment. This is especially helpful for a mobile emissions control system that is normally not directly connected to a water utility.

  • Patent number: 10512781
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to cardiac evoked response detection and, more particularly, reducing polarization effects in order to detect an evoked response following delivery of a stimulation pulse. An implantable medical device (IMD) is configured to deliver a ventricular pacing pulse. A signal is sensed in response to the ventricular pacing stimulus. A window is placed over the sensed signal to obtain a set of data from the signal after a paced event. The set of data extracted from the sensed signal comprises a maximum amplitude, a maximum time associated with the maximum amplitude, a minimum amplitude, and a minimum time associated with the minimum amplitude. Responsive to processing the extracted data, the window is delayed to avoid polarization effects. A determination is then made as to whether the ventricular pacing stimulus is capturing the paced ventricle in response to determining whether the maximum time is greater than the minimum time.

  • Patent number: 10513284
Abstract: A motorized device for transporting a human or inanimate payload. A platform is configured to accommodate the payload and a pair of wheel clusters are mounted to the platform at opposite ends thereof and are powered in rotation relative to the platform, for example by one or more electric motors housed in or on the platform or wheel clusters. Each of the two wheel clusters comprises three drive wheels arranged in a generally triangular and co-planar configuration, and each is independently powered about its respective axis of rotation by a hub-mounted electric motor. An electronic controller commands the motors powering the two wheel clusters and of each of the six drive wheels. The independent controllability of each wheel and of the wheel clusters relative to the platform allows the device to steer and to ascend and descend steps.

  • Patent number: 10516636
Abstract: A real-time messaging system platform receives from, a communication application installed on a first user communication device, a first user identifier, an indication that a messaging service message composed by the first user is being directed to a first destination associated with a second user, and an identification of data present in the messaging service message. The identification of the data and a message transmission history of the first user is used to enable selection of a message of a first entity. The selected message of the first entity is caused to be displayed by the communication application within a message framework that frames the first user messaging service message. The first entity message is caused to be included in the messaging service message transmitted to the second user device, wherein the first entity is not provided with access to the identity of the first user or the second user.

  • Patent number: 10514014
Abstract: A system and method for enhancing spark generation in an ignition coil of an internal combustion engine at low rotational speeds of the flywheel. The method and system monitor the rotational speed of the flywheel and, when the rotational speed of the flywheel is below a threshold rotational speed, the system and method supplies voltage pulses to the primary winding. The timing of the voltage pulses supplied to the primary winding are triggered off of voltage transitions in pulses induced in the primary winding upon rotation of the flywheel. Once the internal combustion engine has started, the switching device transitions into a second condition to disconnect the electrical storage device from the primary winding. The spark generation system of the present disclosure allows for starting of an internal combustion engine upon slower initial rotational speeds.
