  • Publication number: 20240302995
Abstract: Dynamic memory area configuration includes designating a portion of memory as a specialized memory unit, and reserving a first portion of specialized memory unit for a plurality of page frame table entries (PFTEs) representing a plurality of frames in the specialized memory. One or more of the PFTEs are stored in respective queue entries within a queue in a reserved area of the specialized memory unit. A particular queue entry indicates that a particular PFTE associated with a particular frame is available for use. An offline request to take a second portion of the specialized memory unit offline is received. Whether to fulfill the offline request is determined based on whether the second portion of the specialized memory unit has an associated queue entry within the queue indicating that the associated frame is not in use back a portion of a page frame table (PFT) or the specialized memory unit.

  • Publication number: 20240302301
Abstract: Methods and systems for performing measurements of stacked semiconductor structures, e.g., stacked memory and logic structures, based on X-Ray transmission scatterometry measurement data are described herein. In some examples, the scattering response of logic structures is modelled directly in signal space by a mathematical expression including a relatively small number of weighted basis functions. The scattering response of the logic structures and the scattering response of the memory structures determined by an electromagnetic response model are combined, e.g., by summation or convolution. The combined modelled signals are compared to the measured signals at the detector to generate an error signal. The error signal is employed to drive a regression analysis employed to optimize parameter values characterizing the memory structures, values of the weighting coefficients of the signal space model, or both. In other examples, the scattering response of the logic structures is known, and a model is not needed.

  • Publication number: 20240305546
Abstract: The present application describes a method and apparatus for managing a service in a service layer. In particular, a method describes a computer readable storage medium including instructions for managing a service in a service layer where the instructions are executed by a processor. The executed instructions cause the processor to receive a request to manage, via a service enabler function of the service layer, a change of state of the service including adding, removing, activating, or deactivating the service. The request may include a service description. The executed instructions also cause the processor to evaluate, via the service enabler function, the service description comprising identifiers of one or more services to manage. The executed instructions further cause the processor to identify one or more service capabilities in the service layer to assist in managing the one or more services identified in the service description.

  • Publication number: 20240303492
Abstract: Computer-implemented methods for generating neural networks, and methods for classifying physiological data and patients based on the generated networks, are provided. The methods comprise determining values of a plurality of hyperparameters based on one or more properties of the received input data, which may be physiological data. A neural network comprising a plurality of layers is generated based on the hyperparameters, and is trained using the input data. If a first predetermined condition is not met, the values of one or more of the hyperparameters are updated. The steps of generating and training a neural network are repeated until the first predetermined condition is met. When the first predetermined condition is met, one of the trained neural networks is selected and is output.

  • Publication number: 20240299502
Abstract: A combination of medications and medication doses is disclosed whereby age-related changes in systemic inflammation, cancer risk, heart disease risk, CD38 expression, hair color, thymotrophic hormones, immune cell populations, the CD4/CD8 cell ratio, bone marrow density, thymus structure, kidney function, and epigenetic age can be reversed in humans. Surprisingly, agents that accelerate the growth of cells reduce cancer risk, agents that intensify immune responses attenuate age-related inflammation, agents with no prior connection to hair color reverse age-related hair whitening, and a combination of agents that induces IGF-1, a hormone previously thought to drive systemic aging, results in a reversal of systemic aging as documented by an epigenetic clock. Medication combinations useful in the present invention include human growth hormone (GH) or GH releasers, dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), and metformin.

  • Publication number: 20240299123
Abstract: A surgical imaging system includes at least one camera apparatus having a camera body including an image sensor configured to capture image data in a field of view. A scope extends along a longitudinal axis from the camera body. A camera orientation sensor is in connection with the camera apparatus. The camera orientation sensor detects a camera orientation of the camera apparatus. A scope orientation sensor detects a scope orientation of the scope relative to the camera body. A controller monitors the camera orientation and the scope orientation. In response to a change in the scope orientation relative to the camera orientation, the controller updates a rotation of the field of view of the image data.

  • Publication number: 20240302096
Abstract: A roller spinning assembly includes a roller frame and a spindle connected to the roller frame. The spindle is “locked” to the roller frame such that the spindle does not rotate independently of the roller frame. To clean the roller, the roller is fitted onto the roller frame, the spindle is fitted to the drill, and the roller, roller frame, and a portion of the spindle are immersed in water within a bucket. The drill spins the spindle, roller frame, and roller, and the spinning of the roller within the water acts to clean the roller quickly, removing paint and other extraneous material from the roller. The roller spinning assembly also has applications for mixing paint, as well as for mixing drywall mix and similar materials.
