Patent number: 12027867Abstract: Renewable electrical energy is provided with aspects and circuitry that can harvest maximum power from an alternative electrical energy source (1) such as a string of solar panels (11) for a power grid (10). Aspects include: i) controlling electrical power creation from photovoltaic DC-AC inverter (5), ii) operating photovoltaic DC-AC inverter (5) at maximal efficiency even when MPP would not be, iii) protecting DC-AC inverter (5) so input can vary over a range of insolation and temperature, and iv) providing dynamically reactive capability to react and assure operation, to permit differing components, to achieve code compliant dynamically reactive photovoltaic power control circuitry (41). With previously explained converters, inverter control circuitry (38) or photovoltaic power converter functionality control circuitry (8) configured as inverter sweet spot converter control circuitry (46) can achieve extraordinary efficiencies with substantially power isomorphic photovoltaic capability at 99.Type: GrantFiled: November 29, 2021Date of Patent: July 2, 2024Assignee: AMPT, LLCInventors: Robert Porter, Anatoli Ledenev

Publication number: 20230267778Abstract: A system and method for preventing vehicle collisions is provided. The system includes a transmitter system on the first vehicle, a machine mounted locator on the second vehicle, means for determining coordinates of the machine mounted locator relative to the transmitter system; means for defining a safety zone around the first vehicle; and warning means for generating a signal when the machine mounted locator enters the safety zone surrounding the first vehicle. The method includes the steps of: generating and transmitting an encoded signal around the first vehicle; receiving the encoded signal at a machine mounted locator on the second vehicle; processing the encoded signal; transmitting a locator radio frequency signal from the machine mounted locator in response to the encoded signal; receiving the locator radio frequency signal at the transmitter system; and performing an algorithm to determine coordinates of the machine mounted locator relative to the transmitter system.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 28, 2023Publication date: August 24, 2023Applicant: MATRIX DESIGN GROUP LLCInventors: Ben Lemond, Robert Porter, Jeff Polk, Kenton Wilson

Patent number: 10900623Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed which may keep retractable landscape lamps substantially free from water intrusion in operation for a variety of embodiments. Retractable lamps may have a lower fixed portion which could be buried in the ground and an upper portion which may rise and illuminate. When the upper portion rises it may create a low pressure or vacuum inside. Water may be pulled into the lamp which may lead to failure. The lamp may benefit from a seal between the lower and upper portions. A seal may consist of a flexible rubber material and a grease or other lubricant which may form a watertight seal with low friction. The upper portion may have a cap with provisions for aspiration. While traveling between the retracted and extended positions the lamp may aspirate through the bottom of this cap. The cap may be designed to trap an air reservoir when it retracts.Type: GrantFiled: April 30, 2019Date of Patent: January 26, 2021Assignee: Catapult Engineering, LLCInventor: Robert Porter
