Patent number: 9737273Abstract: A mobile diagnostic imaging system includes a battery system and charging system. The battery system is located in the rotating portion of the imaging system, and includes one or more battery packs, comprising electrochemical cells. Each battery pack includes a control circuit that controls the state of charge of each electrochemical cell, and implements a control scheme that causes the electrochemical cells to have a similar charge state. The battery system communicates with a charging system on the non-rotating portion to terminate charge when one or more of the electrochemical cells reach a full state of charge. The imaging system also includes a docking system that electrically connects the charging system to the battery system during charging and temporarily electrically disconnects the rotating and non-rotating portions during imaging, and a drive mechanism for rotating the rotating portion relative to the non-rotating portion.Type: GrantFiled: April 6, 2012Date of Patent: August 22, 2017Assignee: MOBIUS IMAGING, LLCInventors: Eugene A. Publication number: 20160185414Abstract: A bicycle steerer tube is adapted to reside in a plane of travel of the bicycle. A thickness at a point on the wall of the steerer tube body in a lower section thereof varies as a function of the cross-sectional angle of the point to the plane of travel, with the wall thickness being at a maximum in the plane of travel. An inner wall of the lower section may be elliptical, with a minor axis aligned with the plane of travel and a major axis orthogonal to the plane of travel.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 30, 2014Publication date: June 30, 2016Applicant: SRAM, LLCInventors: Jonathan Blair Watt, Robert Powell

Patent number: 9268413Abstract: The present invention relates to a multi-touch display system that supports both multi-touch human input as well as input from a digital pen. The display system has a display panel that is configured to allow human touches along a front surface to be detected and tracked. The display panel also includes a location pattern that preferably covers the viewable areas of the display panel. The location pattern is configured to allow any location within the location pattern to be detected by analyzing a portion of the display pattern that is associated with the particular location. The digital pen is used to “write” on the display panel, wherein such a writing function involves detecting the location where writing occurs and controlling display content that is displayed on the display panel to reflect what is being written.Type: GrantFiled: July 7, 2008Date of Patent: February 23, 2016Assignee: RPX CLEARINGHOUSE LLCInventors: Bernard Doray, Paul To, Michael Haller, James Robert Powell, Peter Brandl, Jakob Leitner, Thomas Josef Seifried, Moses Tao-Ling Ma
