  • Publication number: 20240407954
Abstract: Apparatuses, systems, and methods for providing negative pressure therapy are described. The system includes a dressing configured to be positioned adjacent to a tissue site, and a therapy unit. The therapy unit includes a pump module and a forced air module. The pump module includes a piezoelectric pump sealed between a pump casing, and a lid. The forced air module includes a forced air device configured to generate a fluid flow and a pathway enclosure configured to form a fluid path across the lid. The system further includes a canister with a pathway connection and an airflow pathway extending through the canister. The airflow pathway is lined with an evaporative membrane configured to allow evaporated fluids in the canister to escape to ambient air. The forced air module directs the fluid flow into the canister through the pathway connection and over the evaporative membrane to maximize fluid evaporation.

  • Patent number: 12167094
Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards creating a media content presentation for playback, based on user specified input criteria and playback instructions. A user specifies input criteria related to media source data. The media source data is accessed, and further based on the input criterion, matching segments (e.g., scenes and audio) are determined from metadata information that describes the segments; the media playback content is generated from the matching segments. A user may also specify criteria/instructions that describe how to play the matching segments, such as in linear order, or based on relative relevance such as scene impactfulness. A matching scene can be repeated, and/or augmented with annotation data. For any matching scene or transition between two matching scenes, specified playback speed and audio volume can be specified and applied. As part of generation, the media content presentation can be fit to a specified time constraint.

  • Patent number: 12148208
Abstract: A processing system including at least one processor may capture a video of a preparation area for a consumable item, may identify at least one item in the video, the at least one item comprising at least one of: at least one ingredient of the consumable item, or at least one tool for preparing the consumable item, and may identify annotation content for the at least one item. The processing system may then modify the video to generate a modified video that includes a visual marker associated with the annotation content and present the modified video via a device associated with a user to be served the consumable item.

  • Patent number: 12148051
Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards devices (nonhuman entities) participating in social networks. Devices that join a nonhuman social network can share information, can learn from other devices, can assist in performing tasks and so forth. A device can search for an existing nonhuman social network that matches its criteria for joining a nonhuman social network, such as a nonhuman social network of the same type of devices, a nonhuman social network within a certain neighborhood, and so on. A device can form a nonhuman social network if one does not exist that meets the device's social network join criteria. A device's user may need to give approval to join and/or form a social network. A human social network can interact with a nonhuman social network, and there can be hybrid social networks of both human and nonhuman entities. A device can change social networks over time.

  • Patent number: 12141217
Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards virtual reality bookmarks that maintain state data for a user in a virtual reality environment, such that the user can to return to that virtual reality environment at a later time. While presenting virtual reality session content to a user, a system or the like can receive a request to pause the virtual reality session from a user. Session state data, e.g., in the form of a virtual reality bookmark, is saved based on the pause request. A later request to resume presentation of the virtual reality content results in the system accessing the virtual reality session data, which is used to present resumed virtual reality session content to the user based on the session state data. A pause request may be for an individual user or for each user participating in a session. Virtual reality bookmarks may be shared with other users.

  • Publication number: 20240352499
Abstract: The instant disclosure provides, among other things, novel nuclease proteins (enzymes), novel nuclease compositions and protein preparations thereof, recombinant polynucleotides (DNA) encoding such nuclease proteins, recombinant host cells expressing and producing one or more nuclease proteins (optionally co-expressing one or more proteins of interest) and the like. More particularly, the nuclease proteins (enzymes) of the instant disclosure are particularly useful in mitigating DNA contamination, such as contaminating DNA present in a fermentation broth in which microbial host cells have been fermented, contaminating DNA present in recovered proteins of interest, contaminating DNA present in protein preparations, and the like.

  • Publication number: 20240356882
Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards delivering electronic messages from senders to recipients in an intelligent way, based on the determined likelihood of each recipient acting on a message. Message delivery can be delayed upon delayed message delivery criterion being satisfied, based on user profile data the user establishes for each messaging application. Predicted recipient user availably, predicted recipient user receptivity and/or the identity of the sender, for example, can be used as factors in determining delivery data representing the likelihood of a recipient acting on a message. Delivery of the message is to a recipient's device is delayed when the delivery data satisfies delayed delivery criterion. The delayed delivery time can be determined from the recipient user's predicted availably and/or receptivity data, and/or the identity of the sender. The sender is notified of a delayed message delivery, and can be presented with options as to other actions to take.

  • Publication number: 20240348521
Abstract: The disclosed technology is directed towards managing the establishment and maintenance of communication connectivity between a device and service. Condition data can indicate when to initiate a state change of a connection between a device and a server. Current device conditions associated with the device are evaluated to determine whether to initiate a state change, e.g., from a connected state to a paused state, or vice-versa. The connectivity may be managed per connection type, e.g., cellular versus Wi-Fi, and on a per-application basis, e.g., turned on for a social media application, off for mail and messaging applications. Settings can be used to manage connectivity for an application, e.g., sometimes connected, sometimes paused based on information specific to that application. Trends, user practices and schedule data can be used to predict and manage connectivity, as well as to notify the user to take some action.

  • Patent number: 12099819
Abstract: An entity modeling system integrated with a low-code application development platform may have a web/mobile-based user interface that can run in a browser environment on user devices ranging from desktop computers to smart phones. Users such as a subject matter expert may access an entity model designer tool of the system to model an entity. Responsive to user interaction with an entity composition function, the system may access a data store over a network and generate a view including a collection of entity building block(s) retrieved from the data store. Responsive to the user selecting a first entity building block from the collection to add to the entity, the system may automatically extend the entity to include settings of the first entity building block. The settings may include at least one of a property, permission, action, behavior, or resource to the entity.

  • Publication number: 20240306927
Abstract: A computer system receives a plurality of signals corresponding to first time-series magnetic data generated from a plurality of unshielded magnetometers proximate to the human subject. The first time-series magnetic data corresponds to magnetic fields generated from the human subject. The plurality of signals includes contributions from a biomagnetic field from at least a portion of the subject's organ and a background magnetic field. The computer system synchronizes the first time-series magnetic data to a common clock to generate synchronized time-series magnetic data. The computer system applies one or more filters to the synchronized time-series magnetic data to obtain filtered data. The computer system applies one or more noise reduction techniques to the filtered data to generate updated time-series magnetic data.
