Fatty acid ester can be directly recovered from the treated microbial biomass. The ?-hydroxysulfonic acid can be easily removed from the treated microbial biomass and recycled.

A latch on the base and lid can produce a clamping force on a small lidded container or containers placed in one or more of the compartments. The clamping force can clamp the lidded container closed and prevent leakage of fluids in the container.

Other embodiments are described involving a method of using a recoil grip, recoil grips with different attachments, for different weapons, etc.
