Patent number: 11954214Abstract: Methods and systems for managing and/or processing a blockchain to maintain data security for confidential and/or personal data are provided. According to certain aspects, the disclosed data security techniques may enable access sharing functionality utilizing the blockchain. For example, access sharing may be utilized to share policy information. The policy information may be associated with a smart contract. Accordingly, the policy information may be encrypted using a public key for the smart contract and compiled into a block of the blockchain. In response to a request to provide access to the information to a particular node, the private key for the smart contract may be encrypted using the public key for the particular node and compiled into a block of the blockchain.Type: GrantFiled: February 1, 2023Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Assignee: STATE FARM MUTUAL AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE COMPANYInventors: Melinda Teresa Magerkurth, Eric Bellas, Jaime Skaggs, Shawn M. Publication number: 20240111881Abstract: Methods and systems for processing a blockchain comprising a plurality of immutable sales records corresponding to sales made by agents of an entity are provided. According to certain aspects, a transaction request indicating a sale made by an agent of the entity may be received at a first node. A block including a sales record indicating the sale made by the agent may be added to a blockchain and transmitted to another node for validation. The first node may add the block to a copy of the blockchain, where the block may be identified by a hash value that references a previous block in the blockchain that includes at least one additional sales record.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 7, 2023Publication date: April 4, 2024Inventors: Melinda Teresa Magerkurth, Eric Bellas, Jaime Skaggs, Shawn M. Publication number: 20230234137Abstract: Embodiments relate to in-situ process monitoring of a part being made via additive manufacturing. The process can involve capturing computed tomography (CT) scans of a post-built part. A neural network (NN) can be used during the build of a new part to process multi-modal sensor data. Spatial and temporal registration techniques can be used to align the data to x,y,z coordinates on the build plate. During the build of the part, the multi-modal sensor data can be superimposed on the build plate. Machine learning can be used to train the NN to correlate the sensor data to a defect label or a non-defect label by looking to certain patterns in the sensor data at the x,y,z location to identify a defect in the CT scan at x,y,z. The NN can then be used to predict where defects are or will occur during an actual build of a part.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 29, 2021Publication date: July 27, 2023Inventors: Edward Reutzel, Jan Petrich, Abdalla R. Nassar, Shashi Phoha, David J. Corbin, Jacob P. Morgan, Evan P. Diewald, Robert W. Smith, Zackary Keller Snow

Publication number: 20220397293Abstract: An HVAC duct ozone generator includes at least two ozone generation plate stacks, where each plate stack includes at least two independently electrically addressable plate groupings, where a primary plate grouping includes fewer ozone generation plates than a secondary plate grouping. Thus, the generator includes at least four independent ozone generation control channels to energize the primary and secondary plate groupings of each of the at least two plate stacks. The number of plates in a plate grouping may optionally be altered to reduce the ozone generation capacity of the primary plate grouping in relation to the secondary plate grouping through the movement of resistive collars between the stacked ozone generation plates.Type: ApplicationFiled: June 10, 2022Publication date: December 15, 2022Applicant: Quail Systems, LLCInventor: Robert W.
