  • Publication number: 20230296615
Abstract: Flash Photo-Oxidation Device and Higher Order Structural Analysis is employed for higher order structural analysis of biomolecules. Biomolecular higher order structure (HOS) results from the confounded superimposition of a biomolecule's secondary, tertiary, and quaternary structure and defines the manner in which a biomolecule presents itself and interacts with other biomolecules in living systems. A rapidly growing class of therapeutic drugs, known as biotherapeutics, comprises a variety of proteins, whose therapeutic properties are inherently linked and dependent upon their HOS. As such, HOS analysis of biotherapeutics is an important analytical requirement in the biopharmaceutical industry.

  • Publication number: 20230116873
Abstract: The method to control cleanroom conditions, including zone particle concentration, occupancy status, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) system conditions, includes detecting a zone particle concentration, an occupancy status, and HVAC system conditions. The cleanroom includes the HVAC system in communication with the zone of the cleanroom and with a computer processor as a control unit of the cleanroom. The zone particle concentration, the occupancy status, and the HVAC system conditions are communicated to the computer processor, and a desired zone particle concentration is determined based on a range of desired HVAC system conditions with model predictive control. A first control signal to the HVAC system based on the occupancy status, the zone particle concentration, and the desired zone particle concentration is determined. The first control signal is communicated to the HVAC system, and the HVAC system activates according to the first control signal.

  • Patent number: 11538398
Abstract: Presented herein are techniques to retain full resolution across all screens of a video wall and achieve perfect visual synchronization (sync), such that all screens in a video wall configuration act and look like a single screen. In one form, a system is provided that includes a plurality of displays being arranged in one or more adjacent vertical columns, and a plurality of media players. Each media player of the plurality of media players is coupled to a corresponding display of the plurality of displays and is configured to play out a corresponding positional subset of an overall media content, with a corresponding delay, to the corresponding display arranged in the one or more adjacent vertical columns to compensate for scan out lag associated with the media content.

  • Publication number: 20220080418
Abstract: Systems and methods of in vivo and in vitro radical protein foot-printing using an opto-fluidic array are presented. These teachings may be used to, for example, study three-dimensional protein structure or bio-kinetics. Radical dosimetry including an optional intrinsic standard is used. Real-time feedback based on an internal standard provides comparability between different experiments and in vivo and in vitro analysis results in data that is representative of actual biological conditions.

  • Patent number: 11269425
Abstract: A planar (two-dimensional, XY location) touch sensor may include a knitted structure and supplementary method of sensing detects human touch on a fabric surface. This sensor may be fully knitted and detect the continuous planar location and contact force of human touch along the surface of the structure. The fabric may conform to any arbitrary surface and may be a rectangle for touch pad applications. This sensor may be used for applications that include robotics and human-machine interaction, smart garments and wearables, as well as medical textiles and flexible embedded sensors. This touch sensor may require as few as only two electrode connections from the fabric to sense both planar touch and pressure, which allows it to work in areas with limited space that allow for limited complexity for wiring.
