  • Publication number: 20210127329
Abstract: A first device is configured to establish a connection over a short-range communication link with a second device. The first device may transition to a sleep state, terminate (i) a paging operation and a page scanning operation associated with a paging protocol and (ii) an advertisement scanning operation associated with an advertisement protocol and perform an advertisement broadcast operation associated with the advertisement protocol, the advertisement broadcast operation generating an advertisement to be broadcast at a first interval, wherein the first interval is greater than a second interval for performing advertisement broadcast operations in an active state.

  • Publication number: 20210099276
Abstract: An antenna system is described. A main antenna may be configured to receive a first signal, and a first auxiliary antenna may be configured to receive a second signal from a first expected interference direction. An adjustment unit receives the second signal and is configured to adjust the second signal. • Patent number: 10965012
Abstract: A multi-filar helical antenna comprising a helical radiating element extending along a longitudinal axis, comprising an elongate body having a free first end and a second end opposite the first end and coupled to a feeding port, and a tail member, extending away from the body at the second end. The tail member has a geometry that is selected for modifying at least one of an impedance of the radiating element, and broadening the antenna's resonance bandwidth. The radiating element may comprise a positioning member extending away from the second end along a direction substantially parallel to the axis. An end portion of the positioning member is secured to an electrically conductive surface in connection with the feeding port. The second end is positioned at a given distance above the conductive surface and the radiating element is fed through the feeding port at the given distance above the conductive surface.

  • Publication number: 20210072667
Abstract: A toner cartridge according to one example embodiment includes a housing having a toner reservoir. An outlet port faces downward on a front of the housing near a first side of the housing. A linkage is positioned on the first side of the housing and has an engagement surface that is accessible at the rear of the housing. A projection is positioned on the first side of the housing and is movable between a first position and a second position. The projection is operatively connected to the linkage such that the projection moves upward from the first position to the second position when the engagement surface receives a forward force that is toward the front of the housing. The projection extends outward sideways from the first side when the projection is in the second position.

  • Patent number: 10921730
Abstract: A replaceable unit for an electrophotographic image forming device according to one example embodiment includes a housing having a reservoir for storing toner. A rotatable shaft is positioned within the reservoir and has an axis of rotation. A first magnet and a second magnet are connected to the shaft and rotatable around the axis of rotation in response to rotation of the shaft. The first magnet and the second magnet are detectable by a magnetic sensor when the replaceable unit is installed in the image forming device. A polarity of the first magnet is oriented opposite a polarity of the second magnet relative to the shaft. An amount of angular offset between the first magnet and the second magnet varies depending on an amount of toner in the reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20200404423
Abstract: Systems, methods, devices and non-transitory, computer-readable storage mediums are disclosed for location-tracking wireless devices. In an embodiment, a method performed by an electronic device comprises: playing, or initiating the playing of, a sound through a loudspeaker of an accessory device via a communication link. The sound is played at a specified frequency that utilizes a frequency response of the loudspeaker (or loudspeaker plus speaker enclosure). The sound is received through two or more microphones of the electronic device and filtered by one or more filters. The one or more filters are configured to pass the sound at or around the specified frequency and to reduce masking of the sound by ambient noise. The filtered sound is associated with direction data generated from sensor data provided by one or more inertial sensors of the electronic device. In another embodiment, the specified frequency is higher than the maximum human hearing range.
