  • Publication number: 20070012148
Abstract: An electronic sheet cutting machine includes a housing to which a drive roller is coupled for moving a sheet to be cut in a first direction and a cutter assembly coupled to the housing and moveable in a second direction that is perpendicular to the first direction. A user interface is incorporated into the housing for allowing a user to select via the user interface at least one shape to be cut by the cutter assembly wherein controlled movement of the drive roller and the cutter assembly causes a shape to be cut in the sheet.

  • Publication number: 20070012152
Abstract: A blade housing for an electronic cutting apparatus includes an outer housing having a distal end, an inner housing coupled to the inner housing and longitudinally selectively adjustable relative thereto and a blade rotatably coupled to the inner housing with a sharpened distal end. Adjustment of the inner housing relative to the outer housing adjusts an amount of the blade that protrudes from the distal end of the inner housing.

  • Publication number: 20060042119
Abstract: A shoe has a thin cavity in the bottom surface of its sole which releasably receives a thin sole plate. The sidewall of the cavity includes flaps which extend into the cavity. The sole plate has depressions which receive the flaps when the sole plate is placed in the cavity and pushed past the flaps.

  • Publication number: 20050180811
Abstract: An album page for retaining visual material includes a first sleeve and a second plurality of sleeves that are attached to the first sleeve and form a living hinge thereinbetween. The second plurality of sleeves may be stacked, one on top of the next or positioned adjacent one anther. Each of the second plurality of sleeves can be lifted about its respective living hinge to allow viewing of visual materials positioned thereunder.

  • Publication number: 20050132861
Abstract: A die cutting apparatus for forming die cuts from paper and other materials includes a plastic base defining at least one channel therein for receiving at least one blade. The blade has a desired shape to provide a cutting edge with a predetermined contour to substantially match the contour of at least one channel. The channel has a depth that is less than a thickness of the base, and the blade is of a height that allows the blade to be relatively easily formed into relatively complex shapes.

  • Patent number: 6813847
Abstract: A boot has a cavity located in the bottom of the sole and a sole plate that releasably fits within this cavity. A tab located on the toe end of the sole piece fits into a slot located in the sidewall of the cavity to hold the toe end of the sole plate in the cavity. A strap is attached to the heel end of the sole plate and extends to an attachment device located on the back of the boot. The attachment device places the strap in tension to hold the heel end of the sole plate in the cavity.
