Abstract: Methods and compositions for treating neurodegenerative diseases are provided. In one embodiment, the method includes administering gangliosides into the brain of a mammal in need of such treatment. The gangliosiges are preferably GM1 and GD3 gangliosides. The gangliosides are intranasally administered in an amount effective to delay and/or prevent disease progression, and to increase the resilience of brains by promoting adult neurogenesis by gangliosides.

The cooling circuit includes two parts: a first, high-flowrate and high-temperature part including a high-temperature exchanger and a second, low-flowrate and low-temperature part including a low-temperature exchanger. The first part cools the fuel cell and the second part cools the electric motor. The first part includes a high-flowrate pump, in particular for a high flowrate of between 8000 l/h and 9000 l/h and the second part includes a low-flowrate pump, in particular for a low flowrate of between 2000 l/h and 3000 l/h.

The hardware settings translation engine then maps the set of target hardware performance parameter values to the set of reference hardware performance parameter values to yield a hardware adjustment map. The hardware settings translation engine determines the target hardware setting based on the reference hardware adjustment map and the reference hardware setting. The hardware settings translation engine sets the target hardware to the target hardware setting.

The sensed data of the second sensor is analyzed to identify one or more features using pattern recognition and the one or more features are extracted from the sensed data of the second sensor. Abstract: Computer based methods and systems for characterizing the energy use of multiple different building massing configurations are disclosed. In one embodiment, a computer based method involves specifying a set of parameters for a building massing configuration, calculating a normalized energy use index for multiple different building massing configurations that meet the specified set of parameters, wherein the normalized energy use index for each of the multiple different building massing configurations is normalized against a reference energy use index of a reference building, ranking the multiple different building massing configurations by the respective normalized energy use indexes, and selecting at least one of the different massing configurations for display on a graphical user interface according to the ranking.

The interface defintions of each operation are defined so that operations that execute successively have compatible interface definitions.
