    Abstract: A holding dock for portable computers to house a portable computer and disperse heat includes an upper lid, a holding surface, sidewalls and a hub to form a heat dissipation space. Heated air generated by the computer may enter the heat dissipation space through a heat dissipation section formed on the holding surface. The hub has a fan mounted thereon to draw the heated air to provide heat dissipation effect for the portable computer. The hub further can connect other electronic devices to the portable computer. The heat dissipation space can also house the portable computer to facilitate carrying and storing.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method and related circuitry for multiple phase-splitting. The method includes: while generating M output clocks with a same frequency f1 and different phases, generating N reference clocks with a same frequency (M/N)*f1 and different phases (wherein M>N), and triggering (N/M) frequency division using different periods within each reference clock to generate (M/N) output clocks of different phases for each reference clock, such that the M output clocks of different phases are generated from the N reference clocks of different phases.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for sharing the video memory of a graphic chip includes the steps as follows: when the destination block of a frame buffer executes color expansion, storing a color LUT to a memory shared by both pattern and color LUT in a video memory, so as to provide color expansion; and when the graphic engine accesses a pattern memory, storing a pattern block to the memory shared by both pattern and color LUT for the access of a graphic engine. By the above-mentioned sharing mechanism, the physical layout area of the graphic chip is reduced and the cost also drops.
