  • Patent number: 10980035
Abstract: An electronic device may be provided with wireless circuitry and control circuitry. The wireless circuitry may communicate using a 5G New Radio (NR) protocol. The wireless circuitry may have multiple bandwidth part configurations. The control circuitry may place the wireless circuitry in a first bandwidth part configuration where a first bandwidth part of a first component carrier is active and a second bandwidth part of a second component carrier is inactive. The control circuitry may switch the wireless circuitry from the first bandwidth part configuration to a second bandwidth part configuration in which the first bandwidth part is inactive and the second bandwidth part is active. The first and second component carriers may be intra-band contiguous, intra-band non-contiguous, or inter-band. The control circuitry may switch the wireless circuitry into other configurations for covering other bandwidth parts of any desired component carriers in any desired bands.

  • Publication number: 20210105020
Abstract: A method for light-to-digital conversion includes setting a time integrator circuit into a reference condition and starting to integrate charge from a sensor device for the duration of an integration time. An integration signal is generated and is indicative of the integrated charge. The integration signal is compared with an adjustable reference signal. A first count is generated when the comparison indicates that the integration signal has reached an integration range, wherein the integration range is defined by a low and a high voltage. A second count is generated when the comparison indicates that the integration signal has reached the adjustable reference signal. The adjustable reference signal is incremented in discrete steps when a second count has been generated. Then, the time integrator circuit is reset into the reference condition, when the comparison indicates that the integration signal has reached the integration range.

  • Publication number: 20210105280
Abstract: Internet communications between a content management system that stores a plurality of content objects and a third-party system is established. A hierarchy at the third-party system is determined, and a file and folder content object hierarchy at the content management system is generated based on the determined hierarchy at the third-party system. Users of the content management system and users of the third-party system are reconciled by comparing attributes of users of the third-party system with attributes of users of the content management system. Permissions pertaining to user accessed to content objects at the content management system are reconciled with permissions of the third-party system. Reconciled access permissions are applied to content objects of the generated hierarchy at the content management system. Some of the access permissions that are applied to the content object hierarchy of the content management system are more restrictive than the permissions of the third-party system.

  • Publication number: 20210101753
Abstract: A system and a method is disclosed for monitoring tension and detecting slip of industrial belts (e.g. V, flat, and Timing belts) while in running condition on belt drives by using ultrasonic transducers. The sensing part involves two ultrasonic transducers which are installed on an assembly which is placed within a constrained space between the tension side and slack side of belt. Acoustic waves having predefined amplitude are sent from transmitting transducer on the belt and amplitude of the signal reflected from the belt is measured and compared with a threshold value to detect reduced tension. Additionally, acoustic plugs are mounted on driver and driven pulley locknuts to blank the reflected signal periodically. The time period of the blanking of signals from the pulleys is computed and it measures the rotational speed (revolutions per minute: rpm) of the pulleys. This rpm is used to calculate the rotational speeds of the pulleys.

  • Patent number: 10970531
Abstract: This disclosure relates to digitization of industrial inspection sheets. Digital scanning of paper based inspection sheets is a common process in factory settings. The paper based scans have data pertaining to millions of faults detected over several decades of inspection. The technical challenge ranges from image preprocessing and layout analysis to word and graphic item recognition. This disclosure provides a visual pipeline that works in the presence of both static and dynamic background in the scans, variability in machine template diagrams, unstructured shape of graphical objects to be identified and variability in the strokes of handwritten text. The pipeline incorporates a capsule and spatial transformer network based classifier for accurate text reading and a customized Connectionist Text Proposal Network (CTPN) for text detection in addition to hybrid techniques for arrow detection and dialogue cloud removal.

  • Publication number: 20210096974
Abstract: A method, apparatus, system, and computer program product for facilitating evidence collection. A set of evidence requirements is identified by computer system in which the set of evidence requirements is for a control that manages a set of resources in the computer system to enforce a policy in the computer system. Labels are associated by the computer system with historical evidence for the set of requirements. The historical evidence comprises prior evidence collected for compliance with the set of evidence requirements for the control and was accepted to meet the set of evidence requirements for the control. The historical evidence with the labels form labeled historical evidence. Rules for mining evidence for the set of evidence requirements for the control using the labeled historical evidence are learned by a machine learning model in the computer system.

  • Publication number: 20210099450
Abstract: Techniques for managing permissions to cloud-based resources with session-specific attributes are described. A first request to create a first session to permit access to resources of a provider network is received under an assumed role. The first request is permitted based on an evaluation of a rule associated with the role. Session data including a user-specified attribute included with the first request is generated. A second request to perform an action with a resource hosted by the provider network is received. The user-specified attribute is obtained from the session data based at least in part on the second request. The second request is permitted based on an evaluation of another rule with the user-specified attribute.

  • Patent number: 10963853
Abstract: A system is disclosed that monitors payment transactions of users across participating merchant sites, and that uses this information to determine payment service preferences of particular users. When a user initiates a checkout transaction on a merchant site, the system uses this preference information to attempt to identify a payment service that is both supported by the merchant site and preferred by the user. One of the methods includes receiving a request from a content server associated with a merchant site for a preferred option associated with a user, the request including information indicative of the user. Information describing options associated with the user are accessed, and the accessed information and information identifying options accepted by the merchant site are used to determine a preferred option. Information identifying the preferred option is provided to the content server.
