  • Patent number: 11047733
Abstract: A method for light-to-frequency conversion comprises generating a photocurrent by means of a photodiode and converting the photocurrent into a digital comparator output signal in a charge balancing operation depending on a first clock signal. From the digital comparator output signal an asynchronous count is determined and comprises an integer number of counts depending on the first clock signal. From the digital comparator output signal a fractional time count is determined and depends on a second clock signal. Finally, from the asynchronous count and from the fractional time count a digital output signal is calculated which is indicative of the photocurrent generated by the photodiode. The method may be carried out by an exemplary light-to-frequency converter equipped with a photodiode.

  • Publication number: 20210191438
Abstract: A circuit includes a reference voltage generator circuit and a regulation loop circuit having an output voltage terminal. The regulator circuit further includes a fault detection circuit having a first input terminal coupled to the output voltage regulator terminal of the regulation loop circuit. The fault detection circuit asserts, on an output terminal of the fault detection circuit, a fault flag signal responsive to a voltage on the first input terminal falling below a first threshold. A programmable filter is coupled between the reference voltage generator circuit and the regulation loop circuit and is coupled to the fault detection circuit. The programmable filter has a programmable time constant. The programmable filter responds to an assertion of the fault flag signal by decreasing the time constant.

  • Publication number: 20210194895
Abstract: Responsive to a user instruction or a security breach occurring in an enterprise computing environment, an emergency shutdown and restore module is adapted to obtain and evaluate an identity population definition to determine a population of identities (e.g., a forensic team) associated with accounts distributed across applications in the enterprise computing environment. The emergency shutdown and restore module is further adapted to determine source systems of such accounts and communicate with those source systems via source-specific connectors. The emergency shutdown and restore module can respectively request the source systems to shut down access to the applications by the accounts associated with the population of identities, or to exclude the accounts associated with the population of identities in shutting down access to the applications.

  • Publication number: 20210191794
Abstract: Methods, systems and computer program products for extensible content object workflows. A content management system stores a plurality of content objects. The content management system integrates applications, which integrated applications make modifications to the content objects based on computer-aided invocation of workflows. Upon receipt of a message from a first integrated application indicating an intent to invoke a workflow at a second integrated application, the content management system relays information pertaining to the desired workflow to the second integrated application. The workflow of the second integrated application modifies one or more of the content objects or its metadata or other data associated with the workflow. Selection of the second integrated application can be based on attributes of the content objects, and/or can be based on user interactions within a user interface.

  • Publication number: 20210194988
Abstract: Provided are systems and methods that use artificial intelligence and/or machine learning to dynamically allocate services at different times and at different network edge locations within a Multi-Access Edge (“MEC”) enhanced network based on a multitude of factors that change the priorities of the services at the different times and at the different edge locations. For instance, a MEC controller, controlling the allocation of resources at a particular edge location, may modify the allocation of services at that particular edge location at different times based on time and/or location sensitive events that occur at different times and that relate to different services, changing usage patterns that are derived from prior service utilization, and/or categorization of the services as permanent, time insensitive, or other categories of services with permissions to execute at different times from different edge locations.

  • Publication number: 20210195528
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices suspend and establish wireless communications connections. Methods include determining at least a first wireless communications device should be transitioned to a low power mode, and transitioning, using second logic, first logic of the first wireless communications device to the low power mode. The first logic implements a host stack of a wireless communications protocol, the second logic implements a controller stack of the wireless communications protocol, and the transitioning to the low power mode includes suspending a communications connection between the first wireless communications device and a second wireless communications device. Methods also include transitioning the first logic of the first wireless communications device to an active mode. The transitioning to the active mode reestablishes the communications connection between the first wireless communications device and a second wireless communications device.
