  • Publication number: 20110165430
Abstract: With the invention a metallic flat product can be systematically made available with such a fine, stochastic or quasi-stochastic surface texture that after a typical automotive paint application it is only minimally perceptible, if at all, by the human eye. At the same time, in the case of a surface topography constituted according to the invention, the transition between the peak plateaus and the valleys takes place via steep flanks. In this way, it is achieved that the morphology of the sheet metal surface is practically independent of the actual depth of the valleys. As a result therefore, the morphology of the sheet metal surface of a metallic flat product according to the invention is also independent of the skin-pass rate, which is obtained when the fine metal texture is produced by skin-pass rolling.

  • Publication number: 20090105480
Abstract: The present invention is concerned with an improved process for the preparation of pyrido[2,1-a]isoquinoline derivatives of formula I wherein R1, R2 and R3 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, hydroxy, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy or lower alkenyl, wherein lower alkyl, lower alkoxy and lower alkenyl may optionally be substituted by lower alkoxycarbonyl, aryl or heterocyclyl, and the pharmaceutically acceptable salts thereof. The invention also relates to two crystalline forms of (2S,3S,11bS)-1-(2-amino-9,10-dimethoxy-1,3,4,6,7,11b-hexahydro-2H-pyrido[2,1-a]isoquinolin-3-yl)-4(S)-fluoromethyl-pyrrolidin-2-one dihydrochloride, which are form A and form B and to an amorphous form of said compound.

  • Publication number: 20080312288
Abstract: The present invention relates to the mono-sulfate salt, crystalline forms A and B of the mono-sulfate salt, an amorphous form of the mono-sulfate salt, hemi-sulfate salts, and a crystalline form A of the hemi-sulfate salt of the compound 2-chloro-4-[1-(4-fluoro-phenyl)-2,5-dimethyl-1H-imidazol-4-ylethynyl]-pyridine.

  • Patent number: 7365877
Abstract: Process for the processing of image data which represent the color values of an image, to achieve optimal color reproduction of the image by an image reproduction system, especially by a photographic printer or photolab in response to the image data. In an exemplary embodiment, the image data which represent first positions in a first color space are received. The first positions are transformed into transformation positions which represent positions in a second color space; and the response of the image reproduction system to the image data is modeled with a model image reproduction system such that the model image reproduction system outputs the response as model positions which represent the color values produced by the model image reproductions system in response to the input of the image data as positions in a second color space.

  • Patent number: 7189145
Abstract: A belt grinding is integrated with an electroerosion machine for contouring the working surface of a mill roll and providing a texture thereon. The belt grinder can superfinish the roll and remove peaks in the surface without significantly affecting the mean surface roughness produced by the electroerosion.

  • Publication number: 20020131770
Abstract: A model is disclosed for a system of an image reproducing device and a medium, which produces an image by way of light modulators. A relationship between image control data and light modulation values is described by the model. A relationship is generated between the light modulation values and the modulation color values by a modeled light incidence onto the light modulators.
