  • Publication number: 20090034066
Abstract: An apparatus for adjusting a microscope stage. The microscope stage of the apparatus defines a plane on which an object to be examined can be placed. The apparatus further includes a first shaft and a second shaft rotationally coupled to the first shaft. The microscope stage is guided between the first and second shafts such that a rotational movement of at least one of the first and second shafts has a direct effect on the microscope stage.

  • Publication number: 20080150602
Abstract: Various embodiments include a latch having a node to receive input information, and a first pseudo-inverter with a first input node, a second input node, and an output node to generate output information based on information at the first and second input nodes. The latch may have a feedback circuit to generate feedback information based on at least the output information. The latch may also have a select circuit to selectively transfer the input information and the feedback information to the first and second input nodes. Other embodiments including additional apparatus, systems, and methods are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20080130104
Abstract: The invention concerns a fine tuning device for moving and/or tilting an object. The inventive fine tuning device is characterized in that a support element can rotate about an axis of rotation being guided by a guiding element. To provide tilting between the support element and the guide element, a guiding plane is defined which intersects the axis of rotation by an angle other than 90°; to provide displacement, the object is fixed on the support element with a lateral offset relative to the axis of rotation.

  • Publication number: 20060208200
Abstract: A microscope includes a light source and a detector device. An illumination beam path extends between the light source and a sample. A detection beam path extends between the sample and the detector device. The detector device includes a detector module insertable into the detection beam path and configured to be replaced as a unit.

  • Publication number: 20060182631
Abstract: A lifting stage includes a carrier frame, an object plate configured to carry an object, a cross-member, and a parallel articulation arrangement configured to articulate the object plate to the carrier frame so that the object plate is capable of being raised or lowered relative to the carrier frame without tilting. The parallel articulation arrangement includes a number of parallel articulations and connects the cross-member to the carrier frame and the cross-member to the object plate.
