  • Patent number: 11558965
Abstract: An apparatus and a method are disclosed for producing an electric terminal contact on a coated sheet, whose coating has at least one electric conductor path covered by an electrical insulation layer, in which apparatus and method a recess is produced extending through the insulation layer at least to the electrical conductor path and in this recess, an electrically conductive contact element is provided, one end of which is electrically connected to the conductor path and at the other end of which forms the electrical terminal contact. In order to increase the reproducibility, the proposal is made for the recess to be produced with the aid of a hollow needle, which is advanced in the direction toward the conductor path and which, as it is withdrawn from the recess, introduces an electrically conductive, viscous compound into this recess in order to produce the contact element.

  • Patent number: 11555484
Abstract: An energy storage and delivery system includes an elevator operable to move blocks from a lower elevation to a higher elevation to store energy and from a higher elevation to a lower elevation to generate electricity. A winch assembly is movably coupled to a cable that is coupled to the elevator. The winch assembly has planetary gear assemblies, brakes that selectively engage at least a portion of the planetary gear assemblies, and a spool coupled to the cable. A drive shaft extends between a motor-generator and the winch assembly. A brake is operable so that the spool rotates to reel-in the cable to raise the elevator to move a block from a lower elevation to a higher elevation to store energy or so that the spool rotates to reel-out the cable to lower the elevator to move a block from a higher elevation to a lower elevation to generate electricity.

  • Patent number: 11555144
Abstract: The present invention relates to a colloidal composition for stimulating the operation of high water-yield, natural gas, or petroleum-producing wells, which, when mixed with the water, forms a structured high viscosity barrier to exclude the water and to reduce the water/hydrocarbon volume proportion of the production, furthermore, at the time of use, in the proximity of the wells the residual oil sorbed on the surface of the hydrocarbon reservoir and/or the residual oil trapped in the pores of the hydrocarbon reservoir becomes compressible and recoverable. The colloidal composition comprises a vegetable oil reaction product based compound. Experiments with the new composition have demonstrated that it can be successfully used in a much wider range of parameters than before to form a barrier resulting in water displacement, as well as to mobilize and recover residual oil adhering to the well area.

  • Publication number: 20230009978
Abstract: According to a method for self-localization of a vehicle, a first pose of the vehicle is determined. Environment sensor data are generated by means of an environment sensor device and on the basis of this a landmark is detected in the environment. A position of the landmark is determined and in dependence on this a second pose of the vehicle is determined. A memorized assignment instruction is consulted, matching up the first pose with at last one preferred sensor type or at least one dominant landmark type, and depending on this a first portion of the environment sensor data is selected that was generated by means of a first environment sensor system of the environment sensor device configured according to a first sensor type. For the detecting of the landmark, a first landmark detection algorithm is applied to the first portion of the environment sensor data.
