  • Publication number: 20230132260
Abstract: A system for monitoring a traffic situation includes at least one radar sensor unit for recording environmental data in a monitoring region of the radar sensor unit. A central processor evaluates the environmental data from the radar sensor unit and determines the traffic situation within the monitoring region based on the environmental data. A reference signal unit for outputting a reference signal to the radar sensor unit is configured to modulate a radar signal emitted by the radar sensor unit and to reflect a modulated radar signal back to the radar sensor unit as a reference signal. The processor identifies the modulated radar signal as a reference signal from the reference signal unit and recognizes a malfunction of the radar sensor unit if a reference signal is not received by the radar sensor unit.

  • Patent number: 9263914
Abstract: For signal luminaires which indicate the term STOP or DANGER upon activation, a circuit containing a first operating case feed unit and a second auxiliary source is provided for the purpose of supplying a reliable power supply. In this case, the second auxiliary source is inductively coupled to the signal luminaire electric circuit; while the signal luminaires are capacitively coupled to ground. The use of switches during operation in a fall-back level is obviated in this way.

  • Patent number: 9109533
Abstract: This Stirling machine comprises a transfer piston (6, 6a) and a moving part (14) of a generator or of an electric motor, the transfer piston (6, 6a) periodically displacing a working gas between an expansion chamber (VE) and a compression chamber (Vc) which chambers are respectively associated with two working faces of the transfer piston (6, 6a) of which the cross-sectional area ratio ac/aE is >0.35 so that its displacement along an axis X oriented towards the expansion volume (VE) generates an in-phase working gas pressure component Px that opposes the displacement of the piston (6, 6a), so that all of the mechanical energy produced is transmitted to the moving part (14). This machine comprises a resonant second piston (10) coupled to the transfer piston (6, 6a) by a quantity of energy that is proportional to the pressure component Px.
