  • Publication number: 20230296615
Abstract: Flash Photo-Oxidation Device and Higher Order Structural Analysis is employed for higher order structural analysis of biomolecules. Biomolecular higher order structure (HOS) results from the confounded superimposition of a biomolecule's secondary, tertiary, and quaternary structure and defines the manner in which a biomolecule presents itself and interacts with other biomolecules in living systems. A rapidly growing class of therapeutic drugs, known as biotherapeutics, comprises a variety of proteins, whose therapeutic properties are inherently linked and dependent upon their HOS. As such, HOS analysis of biotherapeutics is an important analytical requirement in the biopharmaceutical industry.

  • Patent number: 10905269
Abstract: The present invention provides a garment hanger intended to be packed into a suitcase with shirts left on the hangers. The clothes hanger has a hook section that is substantially C-shaped to hang on a closet rod or other means. The body portion is generally triangular for holding a shirt or other garment. The hook and hanger sections are spaced apart and connected by the flexible/strap section. The arms of the shirts can be folded across the front of the shirts on top of the hanger section. The shirts is folded again from the bottom. The flexible section is folded about 180 degrees to place the hook portion on top of the hanging portion with the bend in the flexible section even with the top of the triangular hanging section and if a shirt is on the hanger, even with the collar of the shirt.

  • Patent number: 10357842
Abstract: A method for welding nonferrous metal sheets, particularly thin aluminum sheets, using commercially available welding equipment and procedures resulting in reduced cost and faster welding speed without the need for high clamping force, specialized equipment or training, or specialized sheet surface and edge treatments, involving positioning the edges of the thin nonferrous sheets between heavier nonferrous metal bars or sheets in a manner that allows a weld bead or molten weld pool to be formed that incorporates all three layers of the metal, the posterior welding material member, the thin sheet sandwiched between, and the anterior welding material member forming the “sandwich”. The anterior and posterior welding material members and the thin sheets then are welded together with the thin sheets captured between them and with the edges forming a weld “nugget” between the welding material members creating an impermeable airtight seam joining the sheets together.

  • Patent number: 9403279
Abstract: A method and apparatus for moving an object. A verbal instruction for moving the object is received. The verbal instruction is converted into text. A logical representation of the verbal instruction is generated. A movement of a robotic system that corresponds to the verbal instruction for moving the object using a model of an environment in which the object and the robotic system are located is identified. A set of commands used by the robotic system for the movement of the robotic system is identified. The set of commands is sent to the robotic system.

  • Patent number: 9105184
Abstract: A system and method are provided to support safe integration of small unmanned aircraft systems (sUASs) into the National Airspace Structure in the United States. Substantially real-time data communication provides interested parties with an ability to communicate directly with an operator of the sUAS during system operations. Individual interactive user interfaces are used to implement two way text-like messaging directly with the sUAS control console to enhance safety and reduce conflicts with operations of the sUAS. When an instance arises in which an air traffic controller needs to advise an sUAS operator regarding an unauthorized sUAS mission or a requirement to keep an sUAS clear of a specific block of airspace or specific geographic location due to an immediate, emergent and/or unforeseen event, a means is provided by which to more effectively and more quickly communicate directly with the sUAS operator.
