  • Patent number: 4603625
Abstract: A system for monitoring the fullness of a compactor waste receiving container utilizes the back pressure generated by the compacted waste for determining the fullness of the container. The compactor ram is stopped when in the forward compacting position and the pressure exerted by the waste on the ram is monitored for thereby determining the fullness of the container. The system further includes a timer for monitoring the time required for displacement of the ram should the ram fail to attain the waste compacted position within a pre-determined time period then the hydraulic system is shut down and an indicator is lit in order to show to the operator that the container is full.

  • Patent number: 4566167
Abstract: An anti-static switch lock wherein a terminal assembly having the desired configuration of rotor and contacts is secured to one end of a hub. The other end of the hub has an inboard lipped boss forming, in cooperation with the hub end, a circumscribed radial groove. A keylock assembly includes a barrel, one end of which has a chamber to receive the boss of the hub, and a key operated, rotatable plug. The hub, having the terminal assembly attached to one end, is positioned such that the groove is disposed within the chamber of the barrel. A number of stakes are formed in the barrel, the stakes engaging the groove to firmly secure the hub to the barrel. The plug is inserted into the barrel, the end of the plug interlocking with the shaft of the terminal assembly rotor to effectuate switching of contacts.

  • Patent number: 4423482
Abstract: There is described a register circuit which is utilized with a system having the capability of interfacing between two data processing units which may have different operating speeds or data rate handling capabilities. The register permits writing and reading of data in a manner which is independent of the operating speed of the processing unit. The register provides pointers which selectively permit reading and/or writing in a prescribed manner but, at the same time, prevents writing or reading in a forbidden condition (i.e., writing in a full register or reading from an empty register).

  • Patent number: 4405843
Abstract: An improved anti-static switch lock of the type having a key-operated plug rotatably located within a lock barrel, A nonconductive switch adapting hub connected to the lock barrel and a switch affixed to the hub, actuable upon rotation of the plug. The improvement consisting of a hub and plug design wherein the hub is connected to the lock barrel by resilient legs which engage an annular shoulder within the barrel and the plug extends from the barrel such that it prevents the legs from disengaging the shoulder. A biasing means interconnects the hub and one of the hub legs to bias the rotation of the plug and the switch to a desired position.

  • Patent number: 4247237
Abstract: A free standing cargo spacer which is adapted to be assembled in situ from a honeycomb body and an initially flat panel. The honeycomb body is shipped collapsed and is expanded during assembly. The panel is bent during assembly to extend partially around the expanded honeycomb, and is interengaged therewith by means of interfittable tabs and slots to support and maintain the expanded form of the honeycomb and hold the panel in bent form.
