Abstract: Systems and methods for managing a plurality of videos associated with one or more of a plurality of communicably coupled jukeboxes over a network, are disclosed. A first digital jukebox of the plurality of communicably coupled jukeboxes, ranks the plurality of videos according to a predetermined criteria. Based, at least in part, on the ranking, the first digital jukebox determines whether to store a video of the plurality of videos in a temporary cache of the first digital jukebox.

Abstract: The present invention relates to razor blade cutting edges and methods of producing edges exhibiting improved shave performance longevity and lower cutting forces. Conventional razor blades have increasing cutting forces with use due to the outer coating wear and adhesion loss. Blade edges produced according to the novel process exhibit significantly lower cutting forces when subjected to wool felt cutting shaving simulation, which correlates to more comfortable shaves initially and over the life of the blades. The present invention treats razor blade edges having a first adherent polyfluorocarbon coating with a first solvent to partially remove the polyfluorocarbon coating, adds a second polyfluorocarbon coating, heats, and treats the blade edge with a second solvent providing a final blade edge having a thin, uniform polyfluorocarbon coating.

The maintenance switch is internally disposed within the housing and accessible for actuation when the front cover is open, in operable communication with the main controller to facilitate operation of the motor when actuated. The auxiliary feed push button is disposed in operable communication with the maintenance switch, and is disposed to be accessible and actuatable when the cover is closed. The main controller is responsive to executable instructions to facilitate actuation of the motor in response to a signal from the maintenance switch when actuated by the auxiliary feed push button.

Abstract: A system for awarding bonus credits to a user based upon payment of currency to play songs and/or videos includes a mobile device having a display and a mobile wireless communication implement, a jukebox having speakers and a central server in communication with the jukebox or the mobile device. The system configured to permit communication between the mobile wireless communication implement and the central server. The central server configured to track the payment of currency to play songs and/or videos by the mobile device and to award bonus credits to the mobile device based upon predetermined schedules.

Abstract: A plurality of jukeboxes each having a display, input component, audio output, and controller are connected over a network. The controller is configured to play music data sets selected by a user and to store local affinity data uploadable to the network. The controller is further configured to store network popularity and affinity data received from the network. The controller causes the display to present menus and screens based on the data received from the network. The controller is also configured to perform searches over multiple identification categories and store collections of music data sets based on multiple identification categories.

Abstract: A method of improving accuracy of a database of amusement device locations is described. A plurality of amusement devices are deployed at a plurality of locations. The database of amusement device locations is populated based on the deploying. A server receives over a network, from a portable device, a check-in request. The check-in request is associated with one of the amusement devices, and includes geographic location information associated with the portable device at the time the check-in request is made. The server compares the geographic location information received from the portable device with the location of the amusement device stored in the database, and updates the database based on the comparing.

Abstract: A method for managing a journaling-capable file system is implemented by a computing device including a processor and a memory coupled to the processor. The memory includes a set of meta commands, a set of standard journaling commands, and a journaling-capable file system that is responsive to the set of standard journaling commands. Each meta command corresponds to at least one of the standard journaling commands. The method includes receiving a first meta command wherein the first meta command corresponds to a first plurality of the standard journaling commands, converting the first meta command to the first plurality of standard journaling commands, and executing the first plurality of standard journaling commands to perform at least one operation on the journaling-capable file system.

Abstract: A venue-specific entertainment system is described. A communications controller is configured to communicate with electronic devices deployed at a venue, including at least two different types of electronic devices. The electronic devices are configured to communicate with one another by transmitting messages through the communications controller. The communications controller detects events based upon information from the electronic devices and transmits messages to other electronic devices to modify their output based upon the detected events.

Abstract: A method of converting audio selections to video selections is described. An input of an audio selection is received from a user. A database of music videos is queried to determine whether a music video corresponding to the audio selection is available. The audio selection is output in response to determining that the database of music videos does not include the music video corresponding to the audio selection. An offer is presented to the user to upgrade the audio selection to the music video corresponding to the audio selection in response to determining that the database of music videos includes the music video corresponding to the audio selection. The music video is output to one or more displays in response to the user accepting the presented offer.

The inputs are analyzed to determine one or more environmental preferences associated with the patrons. Abstract: This invention relates to a novel application of hard, low friction aluminum magnesium boride (AlMgB14, also known as BAM) based ceramic coatings to surfaces of razor components and in particular to blade edges of razor blades. On razor blade edges, these coatings may elevate blade performance, while also simplifying the manufacturing process.

Abstract: A system for automatically identifying and associating with an amusement device using a mobile device is provided. The system includes an amusement device connected to a network, a mobile device having a controller, and an application program stored within the mobile device.
