  • Patent number: 7386950
Abstract: A versatile label holder adapted to be stably secured in C-channels of various widths such as are found in Lozier, Madix and Streater shelves without significantly modifying the angle normally presented with each of these shelves. The label holder includes a rearwardly extending leg adapted to be captured by the lower lip of the C-channel, a portion of which is resilient and arcuate, extending first upwardly and then downwardly to provide a spring-like element, the effective length of which can vary depending on the spacing between the lips of the C-channel.

  • Patent number: 7124183
Abstract: Provided is a managed network service delivery system and method. The managed network service delivery system includes an IOC (Internetworking Operating Center) and a SCA (SAM (Security Activity Manager) Collector Agent) at at least one of a plurality of customer sites of a customer. The customer sites are connected to the IOC through a VPN (Virtual Private Network) or directly from a respective one of the SCAs to the IOC. The SCAs collect log and statistical information from equipment at a respective one of the customer sites and provide summary information to the IOC. The SCAs also perform queries regarding status of equipment and report to the IOC. The customer accesses reports from a web server at the IOC or through a PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) connection at the SCAs. A redundant connection, through the PSTN, between a SCA and the IOC provides a robust system for management, monitoring and security of the customer sites.

  • Patent number: 6872205
Abstract: This invention is a circumferential ablation device assembly which is adapted to forming a circumferential conduction block in a pulmonary vein. The assembly includes a circumferential ablation element which is adapted to ablate a circumferential region of tissue along a pulmonary vein wall which circumscribes the pulmonary vein lumen, thereby transecting the electrical conductivity of the pulmonary vein against conduction along its longitudinal axis and into the left atrium. The circumferential ablation element includes an expandable member with a working length that is adjustable from a radially collapsed position to a radially expanded position. An equatorial band circumscribes the outer surface of the working length and is adapted to ablate tissue adjacent thereto when actuated by an ablation actuator.

  • Publication number: 20040248192
Abstract: Dimers of a peptide from the T-cell receptor (Cys Lys Pro Ile Ser Gly His Asn Ser Leu Phe Trp Tyr Arg Gln Thr) are disclosed for preventing the progression to AIDS in an animal model. Methods for delaying the progression to AIDS and restoring normal immunological responses in an animal model following infection are shown and comprise administering through various systemic routes dimeric T-cell receptor peptide V&bgr; CDR1 to restore normal levels of Th1 cytokines interleukin 2 and interferon-&ggr;, which are suppressed following infection, and those of Th2 derived cytokines interleukin 5, interleukin 6, interleukin 10, and immunoglobulin G, which are stimulated following infection.

  • Patent number: 6693890
Abstract: An acquisition module for acquiring signal timing in a CDMA system has a register for storing and organizing synchronization code, at least 4 match filters for match filtering between I/Q samples and the corresponding synchronization code, at least 4 absolute value blocks for determining absolute values of match filtering results, a summation function for summing results obtained through match filtering and through absolute value taking, and a control logic for controlling the acquisition process, characterized in that the acquisition module loads a 64-bit section of synchronization code and I/Q complex samples and match filters them in a simultaneous manner and, upon registering a value greater than a preset threshold, acquires an initial timing, the initial timing being verified over the remaining 64-bit sections of synchronization code using the same control circuitry used in acquiring the timing.
