  • Publication number: 20090051179
Abstract: A new chopstick with disposable sleeve is invented. This invention is better than the conventional disposable chopsticks, and it can save trees for the environment. This invention consists of a stick and a disposable sleeve. The sleeve can be removably installed on the tip portion of the stick. Special designs on the sleeve and the stick are provided for easy installation, securing, and removal of the sleeve. The sleeve also has the texture on its surface to help grip the slippery food.

  • Publication number: 20070037505
Abstract: New automobile vent airflow controllers are invented. In addition to the capability of changing the airflow direction as the conventional controllers have, these controllers can also adjustably diffuse the airflow. For most of conventional controllers, in addition to other parts, like the taps/dials and vent surround, each controller has two sets of linked shutter plates, one on upper level and one on lower level. Unlike the conventional controllers, these controllers have a total of three to four sets of linked shutter plates arranged in two levels. The orientation of each set of shutter plates can be independently controlled.

  • Patent number: 6907624
Abstract: Various simple back scrubber-massagers are invented for the shower/bathtub surround. The scrubber-massagers can be made for permanent installation on an existing shower/bathtub surround or they can be made as a built-in feature of a shower/bathtub surround. Basically, the back scrubber-massagers have either one wall or two parallel walls. Both sides of the footing of a wall are curved for easily cleaning. The top of a wall is smooth and with or without texture. For a two-wall configuration, a protrusion along the upper portion of the inner side of each wall is provided to help holding a sponge or towel between the walls.

  • Publication number: 20040082231
Abstract: This invention is an improvement of a prior invention which is a small watercraft propelled by a vertical fin-like device and/or a sail. The prior invention has a vertical shaft located in the front portion of the watercraft. Multiple foot-operated arms are secured to the upper portion of the shaft. A fin is secured to a hinge which is located at the trailing end of an elongated member. The leading end of the elongated member is removably secured to a joint device at the lower end of the shaft. The arms, shaft, elongated member, and fin can rotate 360 degrees about the shaft axis. An opening between the shaft and the operator is provided to allow the elongated member together with the fin to be secured and removed during operation. A post is secured to the upper end of the shaft. The post allows a sail mast to telescope on and the turning of the post does not affect the mast or vice versa. The prior invention also has a hand-controlled rudder at the rear end of the watercraft.

  • Publication number: 20030216091
Abstract: This invention is an improvement to a prior invention—Small Watercraft with Fin and Sail. The improvement consists of the introductions of a rotatable water-foil means, a fin lock/release mechanism, fin rotation stoppers, rear vertical fins, end floats, and a jig/mast. The rotatable water-foil means covers a portion of the elongated member and is rotatable about the centerline of the covered portion of the elongated member. The fin lock/release mechanism installed on the elongated member consists of a wire travelling and movable along the elongated member. A vertical pin-like means is secured at a lower end of the wire. The vertical pin-like means can only move toward or away from a lower end of the elongated member. The fin rotation stoppers consist of two members. Each of the members has one end connected to the elongated member and the other end connected to the leading edge of the fin. One or more vertical fixed fins are added to the rear portion of the watercraft.

  • Publication number: 20020068888
Abstract: A back massage device having spaced mounts on one side of a base and a fastening means, e.g. adhesive tapes or the hook-strips of the VELCRO, on the other side. The device has no moving parts, is small, and can be used at home, in office, or in a car. The user just installs the device on a generally vertical surface, like a wall or a chair back, and rubs his/her back against the mounts while sitting or standing to achieve the massaging effects.

  • Patent number: 6170103
Abstract: Traditional rectangular sleeping pillows with filling are improved. There are several pillow configurations in this invention. Each configuration has two heights available for its user to choose. The user can also make choice of the neck support or not. The arrangement of the two heights also allows the user to easily get proper supports for two sleeping postures, i.e. shoulder vertical and shoulder horizontal. Portion of the pillow contour gives comfortable and secure feeling like baby sleeps on mother's breast. All the configurations can use existing pillowcase in the market.

  • Patent number: 6079344
Abstract: A small watercraft, e.g. a small catamaran, propelled by a vertical fin-like device and/or a sail is invented. A vertical shaft is located in the front portion of the craft. Foot operated multiple arms are secured to the upper portion of the shaft. The fin is secured to a hinge which is located at the trailing end of an elongated member. The leading end of the elongated member is removably secured to a joint device at the lower end of the shaft. The arms, shaft, elongated member, and fin can rotate 360 degrees about the shaft axis. Depending on the general direction the elongated member is pointing to, the fin can propel and turn the watercraft. Because the shaft can rotate 360 degrees, the craft can also go backwards and turn at the radius less of its length. An opening between the fin and the operator is provided to allow the fin to be secured and removed during operation.
