  • Publication number: 20200081836
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for reducing memory cache control command hops through a fabric are disclosed. A system includes an interconnect fabric, a plurality of transaction processing queues, and a plurality of memory pipelines. Each memory pipeline includes an arbiter, a combined coherence point and memory cache controller unit, and a memory controller coupled to a memory channel. Each combined unit includes a memory cache controller, a memory cache, and a duplicate tag structure. A single arbiter per memory pipeline performs arbitration across the transaction processing queues to select a transaction address to feed the memory pipeline's combined unit. The combined unit performs coherence operations and a memory cache lookup for the selected transaction. Only after processing is completed in the combined unit is the transaction moved out of its transaction processing queue, reducing power consumption caused by data movement through the fabric.

  • Publication number: 20200014362
Abstract: Various embodiments of the invention relate to a high performance analog bandpass filter (BPF) with improved performance in suppressing parasitic passband. The BPF comprises a first loss-pass filter (LPF) coupled to a first RF port, a second LPF coupled to a second RF port, and at least one high-pass module coupled in series between the first LPF and the second LPF for band-pass tuning. A resonant circuit is composed by a shunt capacitor from the LPF, a shunt inductor from the high-pass module and a series inductor from the LPF coupled in between. Such layout empowers the LPFs triple functions: to function as a low-pass filter, to participate in resonant circuit for center frequency tuning of the BPF, and to suppress parasitic resonance. Such a triple-function of the LPFs gives the BPF an improvement in a compact but effective topology.

  • Publication number: 20190387014
Abstract: In some embodiments, a resource security system may determine an access request outcome (e.g., accept, reject, or review) for an access request based on access rules. The resource security system may generate and select the access rules to be used for using stability information. For instance, the resource security system may select a training set from the received access requests, e.g., including recently received access requests, and generate a plurality of potential access rules based on the training set. The resource security system may determine and compare the detection performance and the stability performance of the potential access rules. The resource security system may select the best performing potential access rules to be used in operation for determining the outcome of access requests.

  • Publication number: 20190292438
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for in-depth profile control and displacement of low-permeability oil reservoirs, comprising: sequentially injecting a flexible and elastic particle-containing pre-slug, a polymer microsphere-containing main slug and a flexible and elastic particle-containing protective slug into an oil layer, and the three slugs have a volume ratio of total injection amount of 1-2:6-8:1-2. The invention provides a method for in-depth profile control and displacement by using styrene-based flexible and elastic particles in combination with the polyacrylamide polymer microsphere, wherein the flexible elastic particles can block cracks and large pore channels of the oil layer, and the polymer microsphere can displace the remaining oil in the oil layer. In the present invention, different slugs of profile control and displacement system are combined to achieve the objective of blocking cracks and large pore channels, displacing crude oil, and improving oil well recovery.

  • Publication number: 20190268378
Abstract: A resource security system may generate access rules for use in determining whether to grant or deny a request for access to a resource. In order to generate the access rules, the resource security system may select certain access request parameters and determine conditions associated with those parameters. The resource security system may generate mutually exclusive segments associated with a condition of each of the parameters. The resource security system may generate independent access rules based on the segments. The resource security system may then evaluate the performance of each of the access rules based on validity information corresponding to previously received access requests that satisfy the conditions of a particular access rule.

  • Patent number: 10310586
Abstract: In an embodiment, a system includes a memory controller that includes a memory cache and a display controller configured to control a display. The system may be configured to detect that the images being displayed are essentially static, and may be configured to cause the display controller to request allocation in the memory cache for source frame buffer data. In some embodiments, the system may also alter power management configuration in the memory cache to prevent the memory cache from shutting down or reducing its effective size during the idle screen case, so that the frame buffer data may remain cached. During times that the display is dynamically changing, the frame buffer data may not be cached in the memory cache and the power management configuration may permit the shutting down/size reduction in the memory cache.
