Then, the first communication apparatus processes the first graph model through a first neural network, to obtain first information. The first information is for the second communication apparatus to restore the first channel state information. The first send node sends a beacon signal on the one or more subcarriers. Correspondingly, a first receive node receives the beacon signal on the one or more subcarriers. The first receive node parses the beacon signal.

According to embodiments of this application, generator polynomials or generator matrices for channel coding of different lengths and different bit rates are determined by using two sequences, so that storage space is reduced, and storage complexity is reduced.
