Abstract: A transparent illumination system and related light guide plate is provided. The system is configured to facilitate total internal reflection propagation of light through the light guide plate despite low index of refraction differences between the glass material of the light guide layer and the adjacent layer. The system includes a light source, such as a laser diode, and an optical element to fan out light from the light source in the plane of the light guide plate. The light guide plate includes internal light extraction features.

Abstract: A method includes providing a library of hardware-agnostic packet-processing functions. A functional hardware-agnostic specification of a packet-processing pipeline, for use in a network device, is received from a user. The specification is defined in terms of one or more of the packet-processing functions draws from the library. A hardware-specific design of the packet-processing pipeline, which is suited to given hardware, is derived from the specification.

Abstract: A website building system includes a processor; at least one database storing at least website pages and layouts comprising fluid components, breakpoint ranges for multiple viewport sizes, dynamic layout rules and responsive editing rules for editing said fluid components according to breakpoint ranges and a responsive editing module running on the processor, the module includes a rule engine to provide layout decisions for a page of a website built by the WBS according to the dynamic layout rules and the responsive editing rules associated with at least one incoming trigger; a responsive editor to receive the at least one incoming trigger and dimensions of a current viewport, and to generate an updated fluid responsive design layout for said current viewport according to the layout decision and a CSS (cascading style sheet) generator to map the features of the updated fluid responsive design layout design into a smart CSS for the current viewport.

Abstract: The disclosed behavior training system and method uses a combination of modified video self-modeling techniques, generalization and applied behavior analysis techniques to effectively teach new target behaviors. According to an embodiment, a system and/or method includes: receiving a selection of a target behavior; constructing a visual representation of a user environment, sending, to the user electronic computing device, the constructed visual representation of the user environment, generating a behavioral clip related to performing the target behavior, receiving a selection of the stimulus object and in response to receiving the selection of the stimulus object, sending, to the user electronic computing device, the generated behavioral clip and one or more rewards to encourage the user to continue to engage with the behavior training system.

Abstract: A gastrointestinal treatment system including a gastrointestinal capsule adapted to treat a subject following ingestion of the gastrointestinal capsule. The gastrointestinal capsule includes: (a) a housing; (b) a vibrating agitator, powered by the battery, the vibrating agitator adapted such that, in a first vibrating mode of operation, the housing exerts vibrations on an environment surrounding the capsule; (c) a power supply disposed within the housing and adapted to power the vibrating agitator; and (d) a controller adapted, in response to receipt of an activation input, to activate the vibrating agitator to operate in the first vibrating mode of operation at at least one predetermined time of day. The system and method may be used to treat an ailment of the gastrointestinal tract and/or to mitigate at least one symptom of jetlag in a subject travelling from an origin location to a destination location.

Abstract: A quantum circuit called a “qumon” is provided to cancel unwanted ZZ interaction in a superconducting qubit architecture. The qumon qubit has a high coherence, and a positive anharmonicity that may be tuned to cancel the negative anharmonicity in a coupled qubit, such as a transmon qubit. The qumon has three parallel branches, in which are a shunt capacitor; a Josephson junction having weighted energy level and capacitance; and several Josephson junctions in series. The weight is chosen to provide the desired anharmonicity, and the transverse flux noise and transverse charge noise each decrease in proportion to the number of the Josephson junctions in series. Because unwanted ZZ interactions are canceled, qumon qubits and transmon qubits may be capacitively coupled in an alternating pattern to provide a surface code in which these interactions are canceled in an extensible way.

It also includes a unit to determine a component set signature for an incoming component set having an existing layout provided by a user, to compare the component set signature with at least one associated layout signature of at least one layout from the database to find a match and to replace the existing layout with one of a selected diverse alternative candidate layout from the database according the match. The layout signature and the component set signature represent a hierarchical composition of the semantic types of the components of the layout and of the incoming component set accordingly. A layout adapter and applier adapts content from the user supplied component set to the selected diverse alternative candidate layout.

Abstract: A response activity pattern may be ascertained from a set of computing devices obtained during a monitoring mode of operation. The monitoring mode of operation can be initiated when a user command is determined to be a new or unknown command. The response activity pattern may be used to generate a response profile indicating an activity to carry out using one or more user devices to perform a task associated with the user command. When an indication of a previously unknown user command to perform a task is received, the generated response profile can be used to perform the designed task by carrying out the activity using the one or more user device. In this way, the activity that should be carried out to perform the task can be learned based on the monitored user activity related to the one or more user devices.

Abstract: The present invention is directed to the field of immunotherapy. Specifically, the invention provides compositions and methods for improved T cell modulation ex vivo and in vivo and for the treatment of cancer and other pathologies. More specifically, embodiments of the invention are directed to the use of soluble NTB-A polypeptides or agonists thereof for the treatment of cancer patients, for preventing and treating cytopenia in susceptible patients, and for the ex vivo preparation of improved cell compositions.

The privacy context can be used to select an appropriate communication channel for the information. The privacy context can also be used to determine whether all available content is shared or just a portion of it.
