  • Patent number: 10150227
Abstract: A process for producing pellets or granules comprising fibres of a lignocellulousic material, for use as a feedstock in plastics manufacture, conveying in a dry or wet air stream and applying to the fibres a liquid formulation comprising one or more polymers, monomers, or oligomers, forming the fibres into a solid product, and breaking down the solid product to produce said pellets or granules. Typically the conduit conveys the fibres in a plant for manufacture of fibre board.

  • Publication number: 20180025415
Abstract: Introduced here are platforms for creating virtual trade fairs that can be experienced by exhibitors and attendees via network-accessible interfaces accessible on a computing device (e.g., a mobile phone, tablet computer, or desktop computer). More specifically, a software program (e.g., a mobile application) executing on the computing device can display an interface that depicts the virtual show floor of a virtual trade fair. In some embodiments, an artificial intelligence (AI) operation is performed that identifies a specified series of virtual booths. The software program can then systematically guide a viewer through the specified series of virtual booths. Thus, the viewer can visit different virtual booths at the virtual trade fair without providing any user input (i.e., without directing the software program which virtual booths to visit).

  • Patent number: 9805112
Abstract: A relational database for storing data used to populate form records fields, wherein a database table structure stores both fixed and variable form content, for multiple form types by creating tables to store the fixed form content and variable form content. Also described is a method for structuring a relational database, the data content of which is used to populate form fields in forms; the forms structured as fixed data content interspersed with form fields for receipt and display of variable data content; the variable data content derived from primary tables in said relational database; said method comprising creating one or more reference tables which store information about said primary tables thereby to permit tracking of changes to said form fields.

  • Publication number: 20170295217
Abstract: A client server environment having a server with a Web service in communication with a local client application which is tightly integrated with its local operating environment residing on a platform remote from the server; the local client application tightly integrated by way of integrating data structures requested and received from the server; the integrating data structures defining the attributes and parameters needed by the local client application to define an interface between the local client application and the Web service. The integrating data structures enable tight/close integration between the hosted application and the devices and the operating system features of the platform upon which the local client application resides.

  • Patent number: 8020111
Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and methodology to assist users with data access activities and that includes such activities as routine web browsing and/or data access applications. A coalesced display or montage of aggregated information is provided that is focused from a plurality of sources to achieve substantially one-button access to user's desired web or data source information/destinations in order to mitigate efforts in retrieving and viewing such information. Past web or other type data access patterns can be mined to predict future browsing sites or desired access locations. A system is provided that builds personalized web portals for associated users based on models mined from past data access patterns. The portals can provide links to web resources as well as embed content from distal (remote) pages or sites producing a montage of web or other type data content. Automated topic classification is employed to create multiple topic-centric views that can be invoked by a user.
