  • Publication number: 20220010560
Abstract: Façade structure and/or wall structure for a building including tiles (1) and a support structure (2), in which the tiles (1) are received oriented in each case in a vertical plane. The support structure (2) has vertical tension elements (3), to which bearing bodies (4) are attached axially fixed. The vertical tension elements (3) are allocated to the tiles (1) in such a way that at least one of the vertical tension elements (3) allocated to a tile in each case passes through two holding elements (5) of the tile (1), namely a first holding element (5), which is arranged in a lower area of the tile, and a second holding element (5), which is arranged in an upper area of the tile (1). To mount the tiles on the vertical tension elements (3) it is provided that the bearing bodies (4) attached to the vertical tension elements cooperate with the holding elements (5).

  • Publication number: 20180026948
Abstract: A system and method for encrypting and decrypting data for communication via a communication device, in which at least certain aspects of the encryption and decryption functions are performed on a chip and using physical signal conductors rather than in software. The chip includes a chip controller for managing the other components, an encryption/decryption module for performing the encryption and decryption functions, a memory element for containing the encryption and decryption keys, and an I/O control module for controlling input and output operations. These components are connected by the physical signal conductors which facilitate communication therebetween under the control of a protocol provided by the chip controller. The chip may also include an RF spectrum analyser for analysing signals to determine whether electronic eavesdropping is occurring, in which case the user is warned if eavesdropping is detected.

  • Publication number: 20100303579
Abstract: A first and second component joint includes using a fastener having a first end, and a flange having a diameter greater than a tubular barrel portion. A second end having a second tubular barrel portion merges into a shoulder of a flange part having a greater diameter than the barrel portion. The first tubular barrel portion is deformed radially outwardly sandwiching the first component between the flange and the first barrel portion. The second end of the fastener is introduced through a hole in the second component by applying the second component to the first component so the shoulder of the flanged part abuts the second component spacing the second component from the first component. The fastener device is fastened to the second component by deforming the second tubular barrel portion radially outwardly sandwiching the second component between the shoulder and the tubular barrel portion.

  • Patent number: 7816525
Abstract: Process for the preparation of tetrahydropterin and tetrahydropterin derivatives by hydrogenating pterin and pterin derivatives with hydrogen in the presence of a hydrogenating catalyst, in which the hydrogenation is carried out in a polar reaction medium and metal complexes that are soluble in the reaction medium are employed as the hydrogenation catalysts. The process is suited to the hydrogenation, particularly asymmetric hydrogenation, of folic acid, folic acid salts, folic acid esters, folic acid ester salts or dihydroforms thereof, with the proviso that in the event of using folic acid, carboxylic acid salts thereof or dihydroforms thereof the reaction medium is aqueous, and in the event of using folic acid esters, folic acid ester salts or dihydroforms thereof the reaction medium is an alcohol. The process opens up straightforward access to achiral and chiral pterin derivatives.

  • Publication number: 20100086728
Abstract: The invention relates to a fiber composite material, particularly for installation in skis or snowboards. Said fiber composite material is made of a maximum possible percentage of wood fibers, which are present cross-linked among each other in the form of mats with or without preferred orientation of the fibers, and in which the thermosetting or elastomer plastics are introduced. Due a definably high and particularly uniform wood fiber density of the mats, a homogeneous material having uniform mechanical properties is achieved, which however can also be modified in a targeted manner in various locations in the core.

  • Patent number: 7401394
Abstract: In a method for inserting a bolt element (10) having a head portion (12) and a shaft portion (16) into a sheet metal component (52) the bolt element is passed through the sheet metal component by means of a setting head (38), with its end (100) remote from the head portion at the front, and is riveted to the sheet metal component (52) in the region of its head portion (12) by the cooperation of the setting head with a die (54) arranged at the side of the sheet metal component remote from the setting head (38). The sheet metal component (52) is pierced either by a hole punch or by the specially shaped bolt element (10), by the end of the shaft portion (16) remote from the head portion (12) under the action of the setting head (38), to form a ring collar which is subsequently deformed radially into contact with a groove in the shaft portion. In this arrangement the end (100) of the bolt element (10) which performs the punching work is preferably executed in accordance with the Ka shape of DIN 78.

  • Patent number: 6961986
Abstract: An auxiliary joining element is joint to a sheet metal work-piece with a foot deformed to interlock the auxiliary joining element to the sheet metal work-piece. The foot is depressed into the sheet metal work-piece, which is retained over a die having a recess defined by a wall. The wall is interrupted by die parts that are movable radially inwardly of the wall. The foot deforms the sheet metal work-piece into the recess and simultaneously forces the die parts radially inwardly of the wall. Spaced undercuts are formed by the die parts in the foot and the deformed sheet metal work-piece for retaining the auxiliary joining element to the sheet metal work-piece.
