    Abstract: An apparatus and system for power saving in a user equipment (UE) are described. The UE uses signal-to-interference-plus-noise (SINR) of radio link monitoring (REM) signals to determine whether to enter or exit a relaxation state in which the frequency of measurement of the REM signals is reduced, as is feedback to the base station. The REM relaxation state is dependent on the average SINR of the REM signals over a predetermined time window. Alternatively, the REM relaxation state is dependent on SINR thresholds that include an SINR fluctuation range using a SINR threshold for REM in-sync or derived from a Cumulative Distribution Function (CDF) curve of SINR using a predetermined maximum SINR fluctuation.

The operations include decoding RRC signaling. The RRC signaling includes system information associated with an inter-RAT cell of a. target base station. The system information includes an indicator for support of enhanced RRM measurements by the inter-RAT cell. Configuration information from a. source base station is decoded. The configuration information includes a handover instruction for performing a handover from the source base station to the target base station. A determination is made whether to perform the enhanced RRM measurements and the handover based on the indicator.

In some embodiments, one or more chemicals may be disposed on the test material and, when exposed to the air breathed by the user, the one or more chemicals are adapted to transform from a first color to a second color. In some embodiments, when the test material reduces in size an intensity of the second color increases. The apparatus may further include a face mask. In this regard, the test material may be removably attached to the face mask. The apparatus may further include a spectrophotometer configured to determine if the one or more chemicals have transformed from the first color to the second color.

The method includes: firstly, discretizing a multi-particle train dynamic equation using a finite difference method to obtain a partial recurrence equation, and then transforming the partial recurrence equation into a spatially interconnected system model; secondly, transforming the spatially interconnected system model into an equivalent one-dimensional dynamic model using a lifting technology, and in order to compensate input delay, designing an ILC law based on a state observer; and thirdly, transforming a controlled object into an equivalent discrete repetitive process according to the ILC law, and converting a controller combination problem into a linear matrix inequality based on stability analysis of the repetitive process.
