  • Publication number: 20210052581
Abstract: The present invention provides use of Tadalafil as a protein arginine methyltransferase 5 (PRMT5) inhibitor. The present invention finds out that Tadalafil is a PRMT5 inhibitor by virtually screening active compounds targeting PRMT5 based on crystal structure and information about active sites of PRMT5. The present invention not only confirms that Tadalafil can inhibit an enzymatic activity of PRMT5, but also confirms that Tadalafil alone can inhibit tumor growth in breast cancer and improve sensitivity to chemotherapy for breast cancer.

  • Publication number: 20200317504
Abstract: The present disclosure describes an image forming element having a semiconductor chip with micro-electro-mechanical-system (MEMS) devices and voltage generators, each voltage generator being configured to generate a voltage used by one or more of the MEMS devices. A floating ground may be used to add a voltage to the voltage generated by the voltage generators. The semiconductor chip may include electrical connections, where each voltage generator is configured to provide the voltage to the one or more MEMS devices through the electrical connections. The MEMS devices may define a boundary in the semiconductor chip within which the MEMS devices, the voltage generators, and the electrical connections are located. Each MEMS device may generate an electrostatic field to manipulate an electron beamlet of a multi-beam charged particle microscope. The MEMS devices may be organized into groups based on a distance to a reference location (e.g., optical axis) in the semiconductor chip.

  • Patent number: 10694754
Abstract: A pasta roller with a built-in motor for manual and electric pasta roller machine includes a first shaft and a direct current motor received in a main roller. The first shaft is fixed to the main roller. The direct current motor drives the first shaft in one direction via a planetary reduction gear unit. A second shaft is co-axially located in the main roller and has a first end gear mounted thereto. A secondary roller is located beside the main roller and has a second end gear connected to one end thereof. The first and second end gears are engaged with each other. A crank is removably inserted into a hole in the first shaft. When in manual operation, the crank is rotated to rotate the main roller and the second shaft, and the secondary roller is rotated by the engagement between the first and second end gears.

  • Publication number: 20190378682
Abstract: A detector may be provided with an array of sensing elements. The detector may include a semiconductor substrate including the array, and a circuit configured to count a number of charged particles incident on the detector. The circuit of the detector may be configured to process outputs from the plurality of sensing elements and increment a counter in response to a charged particle arrival event on a sensing element of the array. Various counting modes may be used. Counting may be based on energy ranges. Numbers of charged particles may be counted at a certain energy range and an overflow flag may be set when overflow is encountered in a sensing element. The circuit may be configured to determine a time stamp of respective charged particle arrival events occurring at each sensing element. Size of the sensing element may be determined based on criteria for enabling charged particle counting.

  • Publication number: 20090085664
Abstract: By making use of two common-source amplifying units having a shared DC bias in conjunction with two current units or an extra amplifying unit, a power amplifier is capable of providing a high output power in a high power-gain operation and achieving a low power biasing consumption in a low power-gain operation. The two current units are utilized to provide auxiliary bias currents for diverting part of two bias currents corresponding to the shared DC bias for the two amplifying units so that the output power can be boosted in the high power-gain operation. Also, the extra amplifying unit can be coupled in series with the two amplifying units for improving the output power of the power amplifier in the high power-gain operation. The shared DC bias provides same bias current to the two amplifying units for achieving the low power biasing consumption in the low power-gain operation.
