    Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to managing dependencies between shared data objects in a database system. In various embodiments, a data storage system may maintain a function cache that is operable to store functions that are accessible to one or more applications hosted by a server system. In response to a request to invalidate a first data type utilized by one or more of these functions, various embodiments may include accessing an inverted index that specifies a mapping between data types and corresponding functions, stored in the function cache, which depend on those data types. Using the inverted index, various embodiments include identifying a set of functions that depend on the first data type and invalidating the set of functions in the function cache such that the set of functions are no longer accessible by the applications.

    Abstract: A method for identifying influential effects that contribute most to a status change of a target index for goal seeking analysis. The method includes generating a candidate list of significant changed predictors between the normal and abnormal status time periods in collected data, and building a plurality of regression models from the collected data. The method determines a first value (trend value or Pearson correlation value) for each of the significant changed predictors based on whether at least one of the significant changed predictors have a significant change trend using the regression models. The method obtains a second predictor importance value for each of the significant changed predictors from a single model built on all the collected data. The method generates a final predictor value for each of the significant changed predictors by combining the first value with the second predictor importance value for each of the significant changed predictors.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method for pre-warning deformation of a casing pipe according to a change feature of the b-value of the hydraulic fracturing induced microseismicity. Based on number distribution and seismic magnitudes of hydraulic fracturing induced microseismic monitoring events, a b-value of microseismicity in a fracturing stage is calculated according to a Gutenberg-Richter relation describing frequency-seismic magnitude distribution in seismology, and whether fault activation occurs in a fracturing process is identified according to a change feature of the b-value. According to the method, a cumulative effect of fault activation in the hydraulic fracturing process is considered, and symptoms of fault activation in the fracturing process can be accurately identified, so as to pre-warn deformation of the casing pipe.
