    Abstract: The present invention relates to aqueous compositions of associative polyelectrolyte complexes (PECs), optionally containing surfactants, biocidal agents and/or oxidants, which can provide surface protection to treated articles including reduced soiling tendency, reduced cleaning effort and improved soil repellancy, as well as providing bacteriostatic properties to treated surfaces that thereby gain resistance to water, environmental exposure and microbial challenge. Treatment means and compositions are provided that employ associative polyelectrolyte complexes formed by combining a water soluble cationic first polyelectrolyte with a water soluble second polyelectrolyte bearing groups of opposite charge to the first polyelectrolyte under suitable mixing conditions where the one polyelectrolyte present in molar excess is added in the form of a first aqueous solution during a mixing step to a second aqueous solution comprising the oppositely charged polyelectrolyte present in molar deficiency.

Thereafter, determining which cluster of the set of clusters contains historical power generation data that is most similar to the actual power generation data. Then forecasting power generation for a remainder of the time period, using the historical power generation data of the cluster.

    Abstract: This invention discloses a high strength security lock cylinder. The lock cylinder includes a front lock housing, a front lock plug, a rear lock housing, a rear lock plug, a horizontal bar, and a lock cam. The front and rear lock plugs are connected with the lock cam and can drive the lock cam to rotate. An electronic locking mechanism is placed inside the front lock plug. The rear lock plug is connected with an axel, which is connected with a knob that contains a digital control board and an electrical power source. A signal transmission channel is formed along the horizontal bar for transmitting signals between the electronic locking mechanism and the digital control board. The lock cylinder is flexible, strong, and resistant to drilling and lock picking and it can be digitally controlled. This reduces the security risks caused by misplacement or unauthorized use of keys.

The lenses project a far-field image of the diode-laser bar onto an image plane proximate to the illumination plane.     Abstract: A heat-assisted magnetic recording (HAMR) media stack is provided in which Iridium (Ir)-based materials may be utilized as a secondary underlayer instead of a Magnesium Oxide (MgO) underlayer utilized in conventional media stacks. Such Ir-based materials may include, e.g., pure Ir, Ir-based alloys, Ir-based compounds, as well as a granular Ir layer with segregants. The use of Ir or Ir-based materials as an underlayer provide advantages over the use of MgO as an underlayer. For example, DC sputtering can be utilized to deposit the layers of the media stack, where the deposition rate of Ir is considerably higher than that of MgO resulting in higher manufacturing production yields. Further still, less particles are generated during Ir-based layer deposition processes, and Ir-based underlayer can act as a better heat sink. Further still, the morphology and structure of a recording layer deposited on an Ir-based layer can be better controlled.

At least one simulation of the multiple simulations may be performed as a stochastic process and may be based on the received input data.

Two light pass faces of the light pass crystal are parallel regular octagons directly facing each other, and identical rectangles are formed by side faces of the light pass crystal.
