The method includes: obtaining, by a first management device, isolation-sharing requirement information of a network slice or first indication information, where if the first indication information is obtained, the first indication information is used to obtain the isolation-sharing requirement information of the network slice; and sending, a network slice management request message to a second management device, where the network slice management request message carries the isolation-sharing requirement information of the network slice or the first indication information, and the network slice management request message is used to instruct the second management device to select, create, configure, or request to configure the network slice.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a network resource management method, an apparatus, and a system. The method includes: receiving, by a first management unit, a service request message, where the service request message is used to manage a target service, and the service request message carries target-service requirement information; determining, based on the service request message, a network resource that meets the target-service requirement information; or determining based on the service request message, network resource requirement information corresponding to the target-service requirement information, and sending, by the first management unit, a resource request message to a second management unit, where the resource request message is used to request the network resource, and the resource request message carries the network resource requirement information.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and an apparatus for managing a managed function object, and relate to the field of communications technologies. In the embodiments of the present invention, a management request for a managed function object is received. The management request carries indication information of an application, and the indication information of the application is used to instruct to associate the managed function object with the application. The managed function object is managed based on the indication information of the application. To be specific, when the management request that carries the indication information of the application is received, the managed function object is flexibly associated with any application indicated by the indication information, so as to combine the managed function object with the any application, thereby externally providing a network service.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention disclose a network function instance management method, including: receiving a management request for a target network function instance, where the management request for the target network function instance carries an identifier of a target virtualized network function descriptor and an identifier of a first network function instance, and the identifier of the first network function instance is used to determine a connection between the target network function instance and the first network function instance; managing the target network function instance based on the management request for the target network function instance; and establishing the connection between the target network function instance and the first network function instance based on the identifier of the first network function instance. The method includes: receiving, by a first unit, a management message of an application, where the management message carries at least one of an identifier of the application and an identifier of a virtual machine corresponding to the application, the first unit is an agent unit of the application, and the application is provided by a provider other than a provider of the first unit (201); and managing, by the first unit, the application (202), for example, performing life cycle management on the application. In this solution, an application provided by a third party can be flexibly managed in the network functions virtualization environment.

The affinity information is used to configure affinity and/or anti-affinity between a target object and another object, or is used to configure affinity and/or anti-affinity between a child object of the target object and another object. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a method and an apparatus for allocating a virtual resource in a NFV network. The method includes: receiving, by a VIM, a plurality of virtual resource request messages, where each virtual resource request message includes identification information, and the identification information represents at least one virtual resource use unit; determining a priority of each virtual resource request message according to a preset rule and the identification information; and allocating, a resource according to the priority of each virtual resource request message. According to the method in the embodiments of the present invention when resource requests are processed concurrently, resource utilization efficiency and flexibility can be improved, system stability and reliability can be improved, and faster and more efficient responses can be made to some emergencies.

Abstract: In a NFV resource processing method and a VNFM, a first VNFM sends, without using an NFVO, a first resource request message for requesting a resource to a second VNFM connected to the first VNFM. When a resource of a target VIM connected to the second VNFM meets information about a resource that is applied for, the first VNFM determines, according to a received first feedback message, information about the target VIM that can reserve or allocate the resource that is applied for. A resource management network is formed between the first VNFM and the second VNFM, so that the interconnected VNFMs can perform resource processing. This process does not require participation of the NFVO. Therefore, impact on the network if the NFVO is faulty is avoided, and a distributed resource management manner is implemented.

Abstract: A life cycle management method and device for a network service are provided. The method includes determining, by an operation support system (OSS) according to a target network service (NS), an existing virtualized network function (VNF) instance required for life cycle management on the target NS; sending, by the OSS, a life cycle management request of the target NS to a network function virtualization orchestrator (NFVO), where the life cycle management request includes a mapping relationship between an identifier of the existing VNF instance and a characteristic parameter corresponding to the identifier; and receiving, by the NFVO, the life cycle management request from the OSS for the target NS, and performing life cycle management on the target NS according to the existing VNF instance and the mapping relationship. In embodiments of the present disclosure, processing efficiency of life cycle management and resource utilization can be improved.
