  • Publication number: 20210158231
Abstract: A lowest rate on a multi-night lodging stay is achieved by obtaining lodging rate information for a first lodging location from a plurality of lodging rate sources. The information is correlated with a desired multi-night lodging stay to locate a lowest lodging rate for each of the nights of the desired multi-night lodging stay. Then, a plurality of lodging reservations corresponding to the multi-night lodging stay are generated, wherein at least two of the lodging reservations correspond to different nights of the multi-night lodging stay and are placed through different lodging reservation systems.

  • Publication number: 20210070480
Abstract: After deploying its payload, the final stage of a launch vehicle is maneuvered to couple the nosecone of the launch vehicle to the ‘rear’, or ‘engine-end’ of the final stage. The nosecone covers the engine of the final stage, to protect the engine and related components from the heat of re-entry and the impact of landing. Placing the nosecone over the engine and orienting the combination such that the nosecone ‘leads’ the final stage during re-entry, places the center of gravity of the combination ahead of the center of pressure in the direction of travel. Accordingly, the combination is inherently stable as it re-enters the atmosphere and falls to earth. Parachutes and directional devices are used to provide a controlled soft landing.

  • Publication number: 20210060434
Abstract: Described herein are techniques for improving user experience in a video game. In some embodiments, the techniques utilize one or more snapshots of the video game over time to adjust a pose of a user's input device in the video game. For example, the user's input device may be a spatially tracked controller which has a tracked pose in the video game. A user input may indicate a button pressed on the spatially tracked controller (e.g., triggering firing of a shot in the video game). In some embodiments, the techniques use the snapshot(s) of the video game that capture instances prior to the user input to adjust a pose of the user input device in the video game to provide an improved user experience.

  • Patent number: 10926025
Abstract: Devices and methods for filling a medicament cartridge of a pump, including a user-wearable, ambulatory infusion pump. A device for supporting a medicament cartridge can comprise a body portion resembling a tray, with recesses disposed therein to support one or more of a cartridge body, cartridge tubing, interconnect fitting, and vial adapter. The recesses of the tray may be shaped to correspond to that component intended to be placed in its respective recess so to provide a visual indication to a user how to couple and align the various components necessary to fill the cartridge.

  • Patent number: 10926099
Abstract: A defibrillator system optimizes the timing and manner of applying a defibrillator charge to a patient based upon data provided to the defibrillator from a utility module or one or more external devices. A parameter module on the utility module provides the defibrillator with patient parameter information. Devices external to the utility module may provide the utility module with coaching data that the utility module may pass through to the defibrillator as a proxy to the external devices. The utility module may also provide external devices with patient data that the utility module may pass through to the external devices as a proxy to the defibrillator on a scheduled or other basis. The utility module may additionally provide a reserve of power to enable defibrillators to be used where power is unavailable and to enable defibrillators to deliver multiple charges more readily anywhere, anytime.

  • Patent number: 10922745
Abstract: Systems and methods for machine-based matching of lodging inventory from a plurality of disparate reservation provider systems address the difficulties inherent in comparing prices to obtain a lowest possible price, which difficulties are inherent in the distribution of inventory to multiple third-party reservation providers who are generally permitted to utilize their own naming conventions when describing lodging inventory and who are also free to at least some extent to set prices for the various lodging inventory within their control. The systems and methods match room types using information obtained from the multiple third-party reservation providers, whereby direct comparisons can be made between prices for the same room types even when the reservation providers do not utilize identical descriptions or naming conventions for the respective room inventories.

  • Patent number: 10893957
Abstract: A mechanical grasping device where each of the segments of the finger assemblies, are individually sizeable. This allows for both a proportionately scalable grasping device as well as individual customization of geometric configurations tailored to specific use patterns. The mechanical grasping device is crushable since it has flexible and pivotable connections between digits along its length and width. It has a hollow member construction that imparts a strong lightweight design. It is modular so individual parts can be replaced for quick repair. From an aesthetics point, it is visually pleasing and can be offered in different colors, and with custom digit sleeves for specific applications. Finger assemblies can be operated individually or in groups via pairs of cables which allow operation in either voluntary open or voluntary closed modes of control. The flexible construction allows gripping of irregularly shaped objects and deforms before failing giving indication of overload prior to failure.

  • Publication number: 20210011461
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the intelligent distribution of data for robotic, autonomous, and similar systems. To reduce the impact of multi-agent coordination on networked systems embodiments are disclosed that include the use of action-based constraints which yield constrained-action POMDP (CA-POMDP) models, and probabilistic constraint satisfaction for the resulting infinite-horizon finite state controllers. To enable constraint analysis over an infinite horizon, an unconstrained policy is first represented as a finite state controller (FSC). A combination of a Markov chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) routine and a discrete optimization routine can be performed on the finite state controller to improve probabilistic constraint satisfaction of the finite state controller, while minimizing impact to a value function.

  • Publication number: 20200394702
Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods associated with generating conversations of electronic data exchanges. In particular, in one embodiment, a conversation generator determines whether records are related based on EDI data associated with a transaction, integrates the records based on associations within the EDI data, and generates a conversation that depicts the integrated EDI data associated with the transaction in a conversational format for viewing by a user. In other embodiments, an alert engine determines that there are errors in the conversation, such as missing or inconsistent data, and alerts a user accordingly.
