  • Publication number: 20250004893
Abstract: Techniques are provided for metadata management for enabling automated switchover in accordance with a configuration of storage solution that expresses a preference for either maintaining availability (e.g., a non-zero RPO mode) of the storage solution or avoiding data loss (e.g., a zero RPO mode). In one example, responsive to detecting a switchover trigger event, a node of a local cluster of a cross-site storage solution determines whether performance of an automated switchover from a failed cluster to a surviving cluster of the cross-site storage solution is enabled. Responsive to an affirmative determination, the node selectively proceeds with the automated switchover based on the configuration.

  • Patent number: 12178586
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods built for predictively timing the inflation and/or deflation of an intra-aortic balloon pump. A controller operates in three states: (1) initialization state, (2) learning state, and (3) peak detection state. The controller decomposes a patient's electrocardiogram signal to a power signal. It then learns characteristics of the patient's electrocardiogram signal during the learning state and computes adaptive threshold parameter values. During the peak detection state, the controller applies the learnt threshold parameter values on a current electrocardiogram signal to identify occurrence and timings of R peaks in the electrocardiogram signal. The R-to-R peak timings are then used to trigger inflation of an intra-aortic balloon pump.

  • Patent number: 12153503
Abstract: Techniques are provided for metadata management for enabling automated switchover. An initial quorum vote may be performed before a node executes an operation associated with metadata comprising operational information and switchover information. After the initial quorum vote is performed, the node executes the operation upon one or more mailbox storage devices. Once the operation has executed, a final quorum vote is performed. The final quorum vote and the initial quorum vote are compared to determine whether the operation is to be designated as successful or failed, and whether any additional actions are to be performed.

  • Patent number: 12146761
Abstract: An indoor location is mapped into a grid comprising grid cells, each cell associated with items or objects detected as being present in the corresponding cell. The grid, grid cells, and linked items and/or objects are generated and updated using an Augmented Reality (AR) algorithm that maps a physical environment into cells and measures distances and directions within the environment relative to each cell. Walking paths (routes) to the items within the indoor location are generated using the grid information. As a user walks a path, the user's position within the indoor location is mapped and tracked to the cells and the path revised based on the user's actual position. A user device provides video via an AR application to track the user's position; a rendering of the position and path are superimposed within the video being viewed by the user on the user-operated device.
