  • Patent number: 12264536
Abstract: A motorized roller shade configured to connect to a power over Ethernet network includes a motor for rotating the shade to roll and unroll shade material to and from a roller tube to raise and lower the shade. A rechargeable battery positioned in the roller tube provides power to the motor and to logic and control circuitry also positioned within the roller tube. The logic and control circuitry charges the battery though power derived from the power over Ethernet network, and controls the operation of the motor to achieve a desired target velocity. Synchronized operation of multiple motorized roller shades is achieved though autonomous operation of the shades by their corresponding logic and control circuitry. In exemplary embodiments, a lighting element controlled by the logic and control circuitry allows controlled lighting of the shade.

  • Publication number: 20250102317
Abstract: An indoor location is mapped into a grid comprising grid cells, each cell associated with items or objects detected as being present in the corresponding cell. The grid, grid cells, and linked items and/or objects are generated and updated using an Augmented Reality (AR) algorithm that maps a physical environment into cells and measures distances and directions within the environment relative to each cell. Walking paths (routes) to the items within the indoor location are generated using the grid information. As a user walks a path, the user's position within the indoor location is mapped and tracked to the cells and the path revised based on the user's actual position. A user device provides video via an AR application to track the user's position; a rendering of the position and path are superimposed within the video being viewed by the user on the user-operated device.

  • Publication number: 20250105932
Abstract: Techniques for determining calibration data associated with a radio frequency (RF) testing environment are discussed herein. For example, an RF signal can be input to the RF enclosure and selectively applied to discrete attenuators. The attenuators can attenuate a strength of the signal and a signal strength can be measured by various user equipment (UEs) that are located within an RF enclosure. In some examples, a plurality of measured reference signal received power (RSRP) values can be determined by a plurality of UEs associated with a particular attenuation level. Different attenuation levels can be measured, and an average attenuation can be determined for attenuation steps. Measured attenuation steps can be extrapolated to other attenuation levels to expedite the calibration process. Then, a testing plan can be applied to the RF enclosure and the calibration data can be used to ensure accurate signals for testing UEs.

  • Publication number: 20250004893
Abstract: Techniques are provided for metadata management for enabling automated switchover in accordance with a configuration of storage solution that expresses a preference for either maintaining availability (e.g., a non-zero RPO mode) of the storage solution or avoiding data loss (e.g., a zero RPO mode). In one example, responsive to detecting a switchover trigger event, a node of a local cluster of a cross-site storage solution determines whether performance of an automated switchover from a failed cluster to a surviving cluster of the cross-site storage solution is enabled. Responsive to an affirmative determination, the node selectively proceeds with the automated switchover based on the configuration.
