  • Patent number: 12707423
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to fallback behavior for sounding reference signal (SRS) transmissions. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a terminal device determines an activation/deactivation on the configured SRS resource in radio resource control (RRC)_INACTIVE state and behaviours of the terminal device depend on the activation/deactivation. In this way, it improves positioning accuracy for terminal devices in RRC-INACTIVE state. Additionally, it can also improve power consumption efficiency by avoiding unnecessary power consumption of the terminal device.

  • Publication number: 20260230356
Abstract: A wireless device receive a radio resource control (RRC) message comprising one or more configuration parameters indicating a plurality of cyclic prefix extension (CPE) starting positions. The wireless device receives first sidelink control information (SCI) indicating a reserved resource and second SCI indicating a duration of a channel occupancy. The wireless device determines a CPE duration based on: whether the reserved resource is reserved for any resources of the sidelink transmission and a first CPE starting position from among: the default CPE starting position in response to the reserved resource not being reserved for any of the resources of the sidelink transmission and the one or more CPE starting positions. The wireless device transmits, based on a channel being idle, the sidelink transmission. The wireless device transmits, during the CPE duration, a CPE of the sidelink transmission.

  • Publication number: 20260223095
Abstract: A wireless device receives, via at least one physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate of PDCCH candidates for PDCCH repetition, downlink control information (DCI) scheduling an uplink transmission. The uplink transmission conflicts with a sounding reference signal (SRS) transmission. In response to the uplink transmission conflicting with the SRS transmission, the wireless device prioritizes a transmission among the uplink transmission and the SRS transmission based on a last symbol of a PDCCH candidate, among the PDCCH candidates, that ends later in time.

  • Patent number: 12689475
Abstract: According to embodiments of the present disclosure, a PRS transmission timing scheme for sidelink assisted positioning is proposed. According to embodiments of the present disclosure, the supporting terminal device measures a receiving-transmitting (Rx-Tx) time difference between receiving the downlink PRS (DL) and transmitting the sidelink (SL) PRS. The supporting terminal device transmits an indication of the RX-TX time difference to the location management device in order to reduce the impact of low synchronization issue on positioning performance as well as the use of wideband PRS for higher measurement accuracy. In this way, the positioning performance of sidelink assisted positioning has been improved.

  • Publication number: 20260173114
Abstract: A wireless device receives sidelink control information indicating: a first priority value and a reserved resource of the second wireless device. The wireless device determines, for a sidelink transmission, a candidate resource set in a resource pool. The wireless device selects, in the candidate resource set, a resource comprising one or more subchannels in the resource pool. The resource is selected based on: excluding, for selection of the resource, one or two consecutive resources before the reserved resource; and a second priority value, associated with the sidelink transmission, being higher than the first priority value. The wireless device performs, for the sidelink transmission, a channel access procedure on a channel comprising a resource block (RB) set of a plurality of the RB sets. The wireless device transmits, to the second wireless device and based on the channel being idle, the sidelink transmission via the resource.

  • Patent number: 12659116
Abstract: Example embodiments of the present disclosure relate to positioning enhancements. A first device receives, from a second device providing a serving cell for the first device, a configuration of a plurality of SRS triggering states associated with a plurality of SRSs on a group of bandwidth parts. The first device receives, from the second device, an indication of a target triggering state of the plurality of SRS triggering states. The first device then transmits, based on the target triggering state, the plurality of SRSs on at least a part of the group of bandwidth parts sequentially. In this way, SRS transmissions across multiple SRS resources or SRS resource sets withing multiple BWPs can be triggered in a frequency hopping manner via single DCI, which reduces the signaling overhead and latency, and improve the positioning efficiency.
