    Abstract: Some embodiments of the golf club head described herein comprise a club body, the club body having a crown opposite a sole, a toe end opposite a heel end, a club face opposite a back end, and a hosel. A hosel axis is defined by the hosel, wherein the hosel axis is oriented relative to a plane perpendicular to a surface upon which the sole rests at address to define a hosel tilt. The hosel tilt is greater than zero degrees. The club body defines a resting face angle that is open relative to an intended target line.

    Abstract: Embodiments of an iron-type golf club head comprising an L-shaped faceplate configured for flexibility are described herein. The L-shaped faceplate comprises a strike face portion and a sole return that wraps around a leading edge of the golf club head. In some embodiments, the L-shaped faceplate further comprises a top rail extension and a toe extension that extend to the peripheries of the golf club head. The golf club head comprises a rear body configured to receive the L-shaped faceplate to form a hollow interior cavity. The rear body comprises a sole ledge configured to receive the sole return. In some embodiments, the golf club head further comprises a weight pad that overhangs a portion of the sole return. In some embodiments, the golf club head further comprises dynamic lofting features that increase the bending in the rear body.

The resilient layer has an opening through which a metallic weight pad at least partially extends. The golf club head can also have one or more structural members that are upright and connect the weight pad to the crown member.

    Abstract: Described herein is a tour iron having a golf club head with a faceplate, a body, and an insert. A sole, top rail, rear, and the faceplate enclose a cavity within the body. The cavity can house the insert. The insert can comprise a low-density material, allowing weight to be concentrated around the peripheral edge of the golf club head. The rear of the golf club head has an inflection seam running from the heel to the toe. The golf club head has an upper portion, above the inflection seam and a lower portion below the inflection seam. The upper portion can have a rear opening. The faceplate, body, and insert can be formed of different materials having different densities. The golf club head has a comparatively high moment of inertia and a low center of gravity.
